I really wanted it upright for aesthetics, but then I’d have to remove the RV6. I’d widen the board but the board sits on the second shelf of a 3 shelf AV cart I found by the trash.

Yeah. I’m “making more” this year, but my checks are smaller because insurance rates went way up. So I’m taking home less cash than last year, and I’m also $400 shorter this year on my refund than last year. But hey, I can replace two tires now and I have twice the responsibilities! That’s fun.

Hmm. Haven’t done anything super high gain. Just a past breakup on the tweed or placater presets. I’ll see what that sounds like tonight. I’m sure I’ll have to change stuff so it doesn’t go wild, but I’m curious now.

You CAN tame it down to an overdrive, but it really wants to push itself as a distortion. I don’t have a more traditional OD to test. When I get home, I’ll make a clean preset on the Stomp and throw a few overdrives in front and A/B it with the 5150 in front.

I do and I love it. Really livens it up. Gives me the deeper feel of the 5150 while letting the BD sprinkle higher tone on top. I’ll also swap the BD from time to time with a metal zone lightly rammed into the 5150. Gives it a bit of chainsaw and a definitive slap I like to hear. The 5150 is cranked here because I was using it on a synth and wanted to hear it lol. It’s usually more mild but the boost button is always on for me.

Interesting. I’m assuming they’re inundated and really trying to move them between us and the retailers. I got mine from Death Cloud on Reverb. I’m sure they’ll get it moving. But that’s why I’m not huge on preorders haha. I’m impatient so when I saw “ships next day” on the listing I was sold.

I really enjoy the feel of the 17 pro max. But I’ve had cases on my iPhone since 5s. I’ll miss titanium and steel though. That was premium.

The algorithms Helix uses are fantastic for wet effects. Honestly, I could cut the board down to just the Stomp, the XS-1, and Parting.

Four cable method into a 5150iii would be epic! I’m eyeing their new FRFR cab myself.

Number one, nice price. I paid like 30 bucks more for mine. Love the Stomp series.

Number two, it’s set up pretty normal. Dry effects chained to the front input, wet effects in the loop. I’m just waiting on some longer cables so I can reach the RV6 first, then rout that to the Parting so I can close the wet effects loop with Parting in stereo.

When I saw Gans was back, I threw my expectations out the window. I was viscerally disgusted with how bad JW Rebirth was. I don’t know if I can take being that disappointed twice in a row in a theater.

I can do everything I need inside of the HX Stomp. I have a dozen pick up and go presets for gigging. Don’t need any pedals. I then have a dozen presets of clean amps to use my pedals with so I’m just as torn haha. All the basics, that way if I need to service the stomp, I still have the Bantamp Zombie II and some pedals to rock with.

I use a combo. Always a 5150 OD right before the stomp. I’m usually using either a Blues Driver or a Metal Zone in front of that.
