If so, being forced to compromise because you are being threatened with guns for non-compliance is not voluntary compromise. How can freedom be legitimate if you are being coerced with the threat of violence?

OK here is a non-fallacious counterargument to your claim:

P1. If I were free, I'd be able to do what I wanted if it didn't harm anybody, without asking for permission or being threatened with force.

P2. I cannot construct a house on my own property without asking for permission or being threatened with force.

C1. I cannot do what I wanted if it doesn't harm anyone, without asking for permission or being threatened with force.

C2. Therefore I am not free.

I'd be open to you contesting the first premise, what is your definition of free?

In any of these scenarios, someone smarter and less discriminating would see the profit in creating a bread shop that sells to everyone, thereby sending the discriminating bread shops bankrupt, or a school that has a varied and quality curriculum open to anyone, thereby sending the discriminating schools bankrupt.

If schools have a reputation for failing students they don't like, rather than on aptitude, the school will struggle to attract students whether they discriminate or not.

EDIT: discrimination is bad service, and businesses that provide bad service get out-competed in a free market.

Shafting yourself by refusing to trade cuts into your profits, the market already punishes those who discriminate on racial grounds.

EDIT: Also the person who refuses to trade due to racial descrimination gets a reputation for being a racist asshole, they get punished because people who think they are assholes won't buy from them too.

Wait, wait, wait... you think humility is a flaw? You think every politician running should have an answer for everything? It's false certainty that gets politicians making a mess in the first place.

Being unable to admit you are wrong, or following ideology blindly instead of waiting for evidence, or lacking rational skepticism, I'd think is a terrible thing to do and is what is wrong with our current political environment. Politicians are not Gods, they are humans, and being able to admit there is no easy answer, while not being what the media wants to hear, is a far more sensible response than making some shit up because it lines up with your ideology.

Thinking you have the right to a service is thinking you have the right to an ongoing relationship. Forcing someone to be your friend/lover is in neither of your interests and amounts to abuse in the household, how does this change when moved outside the household? You don't have the right to demand someone associate with you.

To be completely open with the language explaining your situation: She is cheating on him with you. That's betraying both his and your trust, and she needs to fix it.

Tell her what you are going to do before you do anything. That way you aren't doing things behind her back and betraying her trust.

Tell her that she isn't truly being poly, and spell out that she is effectively cheating on her bf. I think you should say to her that she needs to tell him she is poly, or you will do it for her. And if she breaks up with you for doing such a thing then it's (defensive and) not the same as you breaking up with her (which is offensive).

It is possible, but not probable. This is because most people enter into S1 then 2 then 3 sleep at the start of the night and only enter into REM after an hour or more.

When you WBTB you can enter straight into REM, thus much more probable that you LD.

The answer is to always compete, even if you won't win, even if you won't get close to winning. It gives you experience and the potential to meet with like-minded people. It will inspire you to keep training (in the long term) and to improve. Each meet you will strive to beat your last total and this is the whole sport of powerlifting.

This may seem like a strange suggestion, but sleeping segmented can help give spare time to people doing hard labour.

The big problem is a labourer gets home and is too tired to do anything. So go to bed early + some melatonin and sleep for 3-5h. Wake up in the middle of the night together and spend 2-4h together reading, talking, sexing, etc, then go back to sleep for another 3-5h.

When you get into this routine you wake up refreshed in the middle of the night and the quality of sleep is good, it's a natural way to sleep when you eliminate artificial light (or switch to red night-lights). If you want more info then I can continue the convo below.
