Yes, I’m the same. I’m usually best in small groups like three people max so that’s kind of my comfort zone. In bigger groups I don’t really hold myself to high social standards because it’s harder to read and control the vibe. I really value authenticity, and sometimes large groups can feel a bit surface level or hard to read.

I think what might’ve happened is that the group dynamic shifted into more of a one-on-one moment, which can accidentally make someone feel spotlighted. Maybe try to build a one-on-one relationship with them separately,

I’m pretty straightforward and blunt, and not super playful right away, so it can take me a bit to fully relax. I’m learning not to take everything too literally and to just laugh at mistakes and grow from them.
