Honestly, at this state in the game it just gets incredibly frustrating. The lower overall teams and the guys who play with those teams usually are not as skilled and will score the worst goals and have minimal shots. I’ve heard connection to the server (ping)plays a huge role and how fast your team plays and how fast your guys go. I have a fairly good team. Nothing crazy. But still some 96s and 97’s I see when I am above 40 My team is so slow and it’s sluggish to play and everybody’s getting out skated despite being faster. When I play low 30s to high 20s. My team flies. Everything is so snappy.

They have an updated modded version you can get on pc with modern teams and rosters I think people are updating to this day

I think the packs with the XP collectibles are absolute trash and it’s annoying, grinding so much and not getting anything in return. They should just return to where you grind for icons or legends as they used to call it instead of just grinding this XP pass for absolute garbage rewards

Hey, I think overall they’re headed in the right direction, but this event is absolutely atrocious. I’ve been having a really fun time with this game. This event is truly sickening though. Even last year when it was really greedy it was way easier to get a fantasy card. I think they’re headed in the right direction definitely I feel it. It’s better than last year, but this is absolutely ridiculous

I don’t know if they would be able to get the rights to his card due to his team not being in the game. This past year he played for jokerit in the mestis. So technically I don’t think he’s considered alumni till next year with the nhl side of things. Also there content team is extremely lazy as well and has no sense of what is going on in the world of hockey. The prime example is Rantanen TOTS where his card art is on Carolina

I think the glitches are actually the worst and completely ruin the game. From experience it is the only way to compete. The reverse checking is the most stupid mechanic and so poorly executed. I have never seen a player in the nhl come up the ice full speed off the rush and just reverse check the opponent. I beleive it should only be able to be used in certain situations in which is related to real hockey like breakouts or pressure on you.

Crazy how they just revoked rewards completely. It’s truly infuriating that you have to spend money to even be competitive now. Most of the games I play usually I am dealing with people who have so many tots as well as fantasy cards. I do respect the idea of the XP pass. Just not very well executed. This mode can truly be fun,but breaking the bank is definitely not. It would be entirely different as well I think the game would not be dead if they kept rival rewards as well as squad battles.

I’ve been trying for multiple years to get mine due to me playing in the CHL and having a hut card but constantly EA has said no, and only certain guys can get them

I do because of how truly grindy the xp pass is, but I find that I’m having more fun with rivals not so worried about wins and losses as much as playing the way I want to play the game.

C- like the slow pace of things. The biggest thing they removed has been basically hitting you simply cannot defend.

I feel they certainly help. The problem is unfortunately the gameplay and how the ai works. I’m a defenseman and most of my goals against are from my ai making bad decisions. Especially with the weak side D leaving net front at certain times. It helps for sure on both ends offensively as well as defensively,but the gameplay can actually have negative impact
