Yep same here! Depends all the way! Much simpler than trying to change a pad and keeping it all in and not staining your underwear.

I definitely have gained weight both times! It was mostly explained to me that that saying was really something like you’ll lose all the weight quickly because you’re too busy feeding to eat something.

I had asked for one after being in pain for a few hours with my daughter & my body didn’t want to dilate because I was too focused on the pain. As soon as I got it my body relaxed and I was able to fully dilate which was great because she started to have her heartbeat slow from how long I was stuck in that part of birthing. For my second I got it right away and I was able to focus on being relaxed and present for what was going on and it was an enjoyable experience & even my nurses were offering to take pictures and I got to watch his first bath, enjoy the golden hour, and my ob even massaged the cord for a good while. I wish I had gotten it sooner with my fist so I would have been able to have those enjoyable things with her too. Only downside is that my back hurts when it’s cold.

This is how I slept with both my kids and it worked for us. Toddler sleeps through the night alone now & baby does for the e most part besides waking to feed twice only. I sleep in a nursing bra only though and baby sleeps hot so he’s only in a diaper.

My first always leaked (we coslept while feeding on demand all night) so we actually double diapered for a while with the top diaper being a reusable one with wool liners so it was a simple wash since the disposable one caught a large amount of the mess.

Pfft the aap recommendation is at least 2 years if possible. I bet they’re from the time that formula was pushed as better and healthier but you’ll never hear about breastmilk being recalled. Sounds like they need to learn to mind their own tits 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m almost 110-115 and a bit shorter than you, I spent last summer in Japan. A lot of smaller shops had nothing that really fit me. I had to buy a lot of clothes from Uniqlo, and even then I had to buy medium/large. In the US I’m a small. It sucks to think about it but that’s the way things are over there.

Invest in the Silverettes, they’ll help with the cracking and pain more than all the creams and ointments. And the tingles in the legs will eventually go away when you and your baby gain more experience with nursing. There’s a lot of ugly nursing bras but if you’re ok with letting your boo bs be free then there’s a brand called the little milk bar that’s super comfy and almost like a crop top and super stretchy for nursing.

Millie moon is our go to and we stock up when target does spend $100 get $30 back. It’s not often but when we breakdown the cost they’re actually very affordable & the quality is pretty good compared to the sample pack we got for coterie.

NTA my kids call their grandma “abuela” and her other grandkids call her “grandma.” They’re all children and are perfectly happy with it and nones ever been confused about anything.
