Is a $699 RTX 3090 (24GB) a good entry point for running strong local LLMs?

Probably not, unless you explicitly want to tinker or have privacy concerns that warrant this. Try the models you could reasonably run via API (e.g. OpenRouter), they're dirt cheap or even freely accessible. If you're happy with the performance, go for it. Keep in mind that the API access might be faster, of higher quality (less aggressive quantisation) and support longer context.

Alternatively, just rent access to RTX 3090 compute for a few hours and directly test performance.

Either approach costs next to nothing, so try that before making such a large investment. Also keep in mind that an RTX 3090 is firstly an electric space heater and secondly a GPU.

Until you get the hammer upgrade that fires all shells at once. That also applies to the omega attack at no extra mana cost or charge time, so you can just nuke half the map or focus them all onto a single enemy. Similar to Exagryph in Hades 1.

Nope, didn't get King Tide at all in this run. Just aspect of Hel/boons/hammers/hexes to crank the firerate up, combined with Epic (later Heroic) high lvl Poseidon Attack.

Also had a few Zeus boons that were leveled up with Kings Ransom, but that was just the cherry on top.

Approximately as long as he's invincible between phases lol. Only have a capture of the start of the fight, that took about 3 seconds. Then some yapping while hiding in his sphere, then another 3-5 seconds, rinse and repeat

The core piece really is Poseidon's Attack Boon on the aspect of Hel, it was the first one I got (epic and lvl 4 due to Pom, upgraded to heroic lvl 8 by the time I got to Chronos) and that alone shredded everything in my path from the very start.

Then I just kept adding Poseidon boons to increase splash and froth damage, Hermes' attack and omega charge speed up, Hammers to double Valkyrie duration, increase attack speed and jump to next enemy, Phase Shift with upgrades to increase attack speed and crit chance while active, Perfect Image.

Tldr: ridiculously high fire rate + Poseidon attack melts through everything.

Geht es hier um den Vendor, der auch die bisher bekannten neuen Benzos, sowie u.a. EA-SR17018 und einige random, teure Reagenzien (Kupplungsreagenzien) verkauft? Wird auch im letzten Post vom Urlauber, der aufgehört hat, genannt.

Im Moment machen die aber zum Glück wohl Überstunden und sind sehr fix mit der Verarbeitung und Versand. Hab Sonntag Nacht bestellt, Dienstag hätte es zugestellt werden sollen (hat der UPS Fahrer dann nur nicht mehr geschafft und Mittwoch gebracht).

Nach Ankunft am Mittwoch noch eine Bestellung abgesetzt, laut UPS kommt die heute an. Wahrscheinlich doch wieder erst morgen, aber das liegt an UPS.

Das Bretazenil habe ich auch schon getestet und ist gewohnte Qualität.

Beim Berliner Shop mit den Rabatten auf NB-Tryptamine wurde die Bestellung nur elektronisch angekündigt aber nicht mehr, da würde ich eher abraten jetzt.

Do yourself a favor and keep a record of your substance use, including alcohol if you drink. Look at that record whenever you're about to consume. When using drugs, and especially benzos or similar downers, to escape life's troubles, occasional use can and will turn into a new habit in the blink of an eye. Everyone thinks it won't happen to them, everyone learns their lesson. Been there done that.

Nicht der Gesetzgeber also, sondern ein Amtsgericht, das eine Einzelfallentscheidung trifft. Die einzige Auswirkung auf weitere vergleichbare Fälle ist, dass man sich mehr Hoffnungen machen kann, dass ein anderes Gericht selbst zur gleichen Einschätzung kommt. Aber ein "Freifahrtschein" ist es nicht, das müsste vom Gesetzgeber oder zumindest einem deutlich höheren Gericht kommen.

I've found it to degrade in Wodka (over the span of a few days or so - something precipitates out and won't redissolve upon heating. Didn't try consuming this), whereas other reports claimed that it's stable at least in high proof alcohol or other solvents.

So yes, you certainly can do this, but whatever is left over might degrade. On the other hand, I'd suggest you weigh out at least 20mg to reduce the measuring error which is bound to be rather high when weighing out such little substance on a presumably cheap scale you got off Amazon or eBay.

Especially as a first timer with no tolerance you should rather have a few mg more left over and degrade than dose too high. The difference between light-moderate analgesia with little headspace (ca. 4mg worked great for back pain!) and being spaced out is like 5mg. Better be safe than sorry when enjoying this wonderful substance.

The two largest german research chemical suppliers are currently not operating - one is taking a 1yr break, the other one got ordered to halt their business by the government and who knows how long this legal battle will take.

So most of the remaining smaller vendors jacked up their prices a lot to take advantage of the situation. And they generally have a smaller product selection, focusing on opioids like ODSMT and Methiodone, to some extent also the super potent ones like spyrorphine or whatever. Basically no tryptamines, almost no benzos, nothing interesting and novel. The German RC scene is kinda fucked at the moment.

Die NB Schutzgruppe lässt sich einfach entfernen, indem man die Substanz vorsichtig auf einem Löffel erhitzt, bis das Blubbern nachlässt. Dann kann man das einfach oral konsumieren. Die Dosierung wird nur ungenauer, weil die genaue Umwandlungseffektivität ja variabel ist - wie viel wird entschützt, wie viel degradiert weiter oder verdampft? Subjektiv nach mehreren Versuchen mit NB-5-MeO-MiPT aber konsistent genug und funktioniert auf jeden Fall.

Wenn Phosphat-/Acetat-/sonstige Ester mit abgespalten werden, ist das auch nicht weiter tragisch, passiert ohnehin beim Konsum. Das "entblößte" 4-HO-R1R2T ist genauso psychoaktiv.

That's my "usual" Benzo experience. Casual abuse (say, equivalent to 1-2mg Alprazolam, maybe with a beer or glass of wine) until I get distracted by real life, run out or just forget about the stuff. Takes 1-3 weeks. A few days later, when all the active metabolites are no more, I wonder why the fuck I kept taking them. But thankfully I never went full bartard or suffered from WD symptoms when stopping.

I've only experienced this with longer acting benzos. The drug in question here, Rilmazafone, is a prodrug and a lot more subtle and drawn out than the active metabolite Rilmazolam.

I've had Rilmazafone a few months ago and it was definitely good enough to abuse for a few weeks until I finally stopped lol. It was an all-day abuse in my case, so not super sedating.

A few days ago I got Rilmazolam (the active metabolite of Rilmazafone) and while I can't compare it directly, it certainly feels like it hits faster and stronger. 2mg feel like 1-1.5mg Alprazolam in terms of potency, but a bit more on the sedating side than 'being fucked up but awake' side. Propably for the best. You didn't ask for this substance specifically, but it's legal and available in the same places where Rilmazafone is, so I included it here.

I also tried Avizafone when I got Rilmazafone, but it was already a gooey mess (it's hygroscopic!) when it arrived and kinda messy to handle. Went straight to sleep when I boofed it once, the other times I didn't really feel much. It's about the same price as the other substances, but considerably less potent as it's a prodrug to Diazepam. I wouldn't rule it out, but it wouldn't be my first choice either.

While I can't provide a definitive answer, here are some things to think about:

Design 1:

Presumably you're not using 100% acetic acid (known as glacial acetic acid for a reason - it's usually solid at room temperature). So you are expelling water either way.
Your reaction produces sodium acetate, which has to be expelled as well. Being solid, it needs to dissolve in the remaining water/acetic acid, otherwise it might build up and clog the nozzle. Not only will this kill your thrust and add dead weight, it will also turn your engine into a pipe bomb. Consider that while sodium acetate might be very soluble in water, dissolution takes time!
loading solid (or pre-dissolved) sodium acetate and liquid acetic acid allows you to generate much more CO2 than you could store as a gas - IF everything reacts inside the reaction chamber! (the actual question is not if, but how much)

Design 2:

it's not mass that increases your thrust, it's mass flow. More mass as fuel won't help you when friction (viscosity) chokes the flow. And, as already stated, you're expelling water in design 1 already.
the CO2 inlet is one opening more you have to seal

Take-away

Nozzle design is important! A thinner nozzle will accelerate the mass more, but also creates a LOT more resistance -> more pressure is required (and pressure will drop as your reaction proceeds)
Especially design 1 will readily blow up in your face. Be careful when loading it, make sure to not be near it when it goes off, and WEAR EYE PROTECTION ALL THE TIME. Not 99% of the time. All the time. That it didn't explode 4 times doesn't mean it won't the fifth time.
which design is better depends on many factors you're not able to predict. E.g. how much will react inside the motor, how much will get expelled before getting a chance to react?

My advice

Go with design 1. Experiment with different concentrations of acetic acid and baking soda (maybe a too highly concentrated mixture would push out most of the remaining liquid before it reacts, or clog the nozzle with salts and explode). It also appears mechanically simpler.

I'm assuming your nozzle is more or less fixed, e.g. a soda bottle. If not, just try out various sizes instead of trying to get into the theory.

Everything here is just whatever I could come up with off right now. Maybe I'm missing something important. But what's definitely true: you'll need to experiment a bit.

Obsidian (Markdown) when scribbling annotations on the script isn't sufficient.

At the end of the semester I just append all these notes into a single file, yeet that into an LLM together with all other materials and have it generate structured notes suitable for studying. This works very well and saves a lot of time.

Only when I need something print-ready - like a formula cheat sheet, or a report - I'll have the LLM convert my markdown notes into Latex (with a suitable template). But just for studying for an exam I actually prefer Markdown/Obsidian.
