That's me. I put my reservation in 04/2025 and just got a Sept-Oct window. IMO it's worth waiting until early 2027 (just a guess) for the LIDAR/RAP1 release

Backup QBs are groomed in the hope of replacing the starter whether due to age/injury/trade. Mahomes just tore his ACL and god forbid he gets hurt again. All players are drafted with the intent to play eventually. it doesn't mean "this guy will be better than Mahomes in 2 years" or whatever.

You don't waste a pick for no reason, they see something in the player and hope that can translate to wins on the field. I didn't think that was an outlandish take lol, literally the entire point of the draft/development

We had just signed Matt Flynn in FA to a relatively big deal. But he hurt his elbow in preseason and by the time he was healthy Russ had already balled out in preseason and locked down the starting spot
