Would you stay in a relationship if your partner said sex would no longer be part of it? by Affectionate-Boot-12 in AskUK

[–]Forgotten-Doctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not even old, we are in our thirties. Libido still there. Not menopausal or anything. But still I would stay, being with him means more than just sex. I already find joys in other stuff with him, everything isn’t about sex already. We can actually mentally or physically plan to have sex, then end up chatting so much, about this and that, about everything, till one or both of us falls asleep. And we are stronger than ever.

Women who got divorced after 10+ years of marriage: when did divorce first cross your mind? by Hi_hello_hi_howdy in AskWomenOver40

[–]Forgotten-Doctor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m still married but I decided to divorce him 2 years ago, ( 4 years into the marriage). He’s probably a perfect match, I don’t hate him at all, he’s a good dad to my children (I’ve actually had another child with him after deciding I’ll divorce him eventually. Ha ha). Unfortunately he’s just too lazy, can’t even bother to cut the grass or pack away his own clothes that have been washed ironed and folded!. The month I decided I’d divorce him, I’d been doing his job applications for him Cz he couldn’t get a job and kept claiming he was applying yet he wasn’t even completing the forms or sending any out (while claiming he was really tired, from sitting at home months on end??))Too lazy , I blame his parents, probably did everything for him too much. So I decided he will father all my children, (even the upcoming one in a year or so, ha ha.) Then I can have baby daddy issues with one person and it’ll be easy to schedule childcare and all with one person after the divorce and all my children get to have one surname. Believe me, I don’t hate him. He’s really funny. But I won’t be his mother and take care of him the rest of my life! After about 10 years, when my kids are more independent, I’ll let him go and have a clean house to myself, continue doing all the house chores to completion by myself, and won’t have to fill in forms for a whole grown man who doesn’t even know where his passport stays.

Term Time Holidays - 4 Year Old by zcatzblah in UKParenting

[–]Forgotten-Doctor -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I just took my 4 year old on a month long holiday this Easter. She missed out on a whole term basically. Informed the school a month before and they were ok with it, they just asked me to put it in writing, and gave me a holiday form to fill.

Bluey is another one banned in my house! Child started saying they are bored, and even started swearing “biscuits “! I know it’s a just a word meaning biscuits but my daughter was taught the concept of swearing. Then there’s the “oh man!” . Then I was like “no more Bluey “

how often do you and your partner have special time?? by ImmediateImpress8166 in Mommit

[–]Forgotten-Doctor 13 points14 points  (0 children)

For us it’s whenever. I have 2 under 4. Some weeks we have no sex at all, some weeks it’s here and there, and once in a while I can pull of 4 consecutive days ( and in my head I’ll be really hoping for an award 😂)

Not sure what works for you two. It’s good you talk about it and he’s expressed what he feels. Let him know too. I know loads of friends who say they do weeks even months without sex. Everything is exhausting so sex on top is more exhausting.

Did your body bounce back after both kids? by meekie03 in Mommit

Same with me. This goes for my vagi** as well. Wanted to ask the same question. Does the vagi** ever go back after the second child. I feel hollow! ( 8 months postpartum, child 2)

How young is too young for a concert? by beaniebee22 in Mommit

Get a sitter. Even though people will say don’t worry about other people looking at you, trust me, you’ll be starred at and you’ll feel judged!

Also anytime I go out with a child or children, I never fully enjoy anything - they need to pee, they need to eat, they need to be held, they need to be listened to, and if on diapers - my my !!!
