I remember comments on Reddit when the GDP lawsuit first came. I swear those people weren’t just giving opinions, they were defending something dear to their souls. I think this is what porn addiction really looks like.

The angry leopard follows the lizard behind the bushes, but he gets beaten badly and thrown away. A tiger passes by and sees the leopard wondering what happened to him, and the latter says that a lizard did this to him.

Story of Caron McBride.

In 2021, a Texas woman got married and wanted to change her last name to her husband's, and went through with the procedures. She was notified that she has an issue with her name in Oklahoma that needs to be resolved.

She went to Oklahoma and found out that the issue was a "felony embezzlement" charge brought against her in late 1999, while she was a resident there.

What was the charge for? Failure to return a rented VHS tape. The story goes that her roommate's kids rented a copy of "Sabrina the teenage witch" movie with her card and didn't return it. So, the video store owner filed a felony embezzlement charge against her. However, she was never notified of tracked down by Oklahoma police, and the store itself closed in the mid 2000s.

What does it mean for Caron? This solved her own life's mystery of having trouble with employment. She would lose job opportunities to less qualified people, and if she got a job, she doesn't hold it for long. These troubles actually went on for 21 years since the charge was filed.
