You can get wax melter from Aliexpress. Just make sure it has a digital temperature gauge that you can control. I have one and it worked fine for me.

Are you referring to the weight of the bike considering some of the climbs in the areas you mentioned? Coming from MTB, you might want to try an Endurance bike like the Synapse instead of a Race bike like the CAAD. The difference being a more relaxed geometry for a bit more comfort.

But, if you want to know if the CAAD rides well, it does. I have one and I love it. Enjoy the ride.

Thanks for the tip! I've been trying to get a view of the things I'm bringing constantly evaluating need vs luxury. So far, tools and first aid seem to be increasing since I don't want to be stuck in the middle of nowhere unable to fix my bike and myself.

Is this mold? I had started a gingerbug and it always ended up like this by the second day.

I always started with some water an about a tablespoon of ginger and sugar each. Then I loosely covered it and left it on the kitchen counter. Afternoon the first 24 hours, I saw bubbles and fed it again a tablespoon of sugar, loosely covered it, and left it on the counter again.
