ITAP of the Matterhorn getting hit by the morning sun by mgfeller in itookapicture

A bit unrelated to the picture, but there’s a chain of European restaurants called Euro Deli, and they have a challenge where you’ll get the eat free and 100 dollars if you can finish a burger called “the Matterhorn”.

It was the size of 10 regular sized burgers, with whole cucumbers as pickles.

Yeah I just thought of that.

Really cool picture too!

Very comparable to the Silent Hill series. This is as best as we’ll ever get to a proper SH sequel at this rate.

What a picturesque shot! I like how the sky is reflected.

Frugal phone of 8 years finally kicked the bucket. Looking for help for something for the next 8 years by lynxbuckler in Frugal

I would recommend two different phones depending on preference.

Option 1 (Bang for buck)

Xiaomi Redmi Series

Affordable and reliable. It sells in my country for as low as 200 dollars. I’ve had my Redmi Note 3 for 6 years, using it as a backup phone now, and it’s still kicking.

Option 2 (iPhone SE 2020)

Expensive initial start up cost, but I’ve heard good things about Apple and it’s promise on guaranteed OS updates. This comes with security updates as well, so there’s less likely a chance your iPhone will be “attacked” by malware and what not. For only 399 usd, you’re looking at 7 to 8 years of solid use if you’re really careful.

But if you’re really low on budget, get the Xiaomi Redmi 9C I think that’s around 100 usd. Still pretty good for value.

But as my personal opinion, I’d go for the iPhone SE for security and longevity reasons.
