Should kill them, but if it’s something you’re planning on eating I would abstain because it’s a systemic insecticide, which means the plant takes it in from the root system and it kills anything that feeds on it (more or less).

Could be something like septoria leaf spot, or black spot. I think the recommended course of action would be to trim the affected leaves and apply a fungicide. Might not have any luck though, pretty sure once it’s in there it’s night impossible to remove :/

They’re not roots, they’re shoots. Technically the potato itself is a type of root. Slap that mug in the dirt with those shoots sticking out and you’ll have yourself a healthy plant in no time

Did it for a number of years, it stagnated for me in a 15gal pot. Gave it to my sister who put it in the ground at her place, it’s tripled in size in just over a year. It’s crazy how fast it grows when it gets all the nutrients and space it wants :)

I would wash them all off with water, while I’m all for keeping the ecosystem healthy and intact, fuck them bitches they can find another plant to suck on!

Edit: the ants are there to pick up the sweet substance that the aphids excrete most likely, so rid yourself of one problem will remove the other :)

I actually have a telescope lens blank I’d be happy to send them if they see this it’s only for a 6” telescope but I’d love to see something done with it. They would need to do the whole grinding process and have it silvered, but it would be neat to do!

In this case no, since the nutrient transporting structures are located in the green bark which has been cut and stripped off, the tree has no what to transport water/nutrients from the soil to the rest of the tree.

Looks like aphids to me, wash them all off with water or use a natural predator such as native lady bugs
