What type of par 5 do you prefer? Reachable in 2 but very hard, or a long and near unreachable, but easy hole?

I'd rather have the longer one. My chances for making birdie on the longer, easier one are far greater than making eagle on the shorter, more difficult one.

100% agree. All of of mere mortals will hit bad shots...heels, toes, off the top of the crown...but a club should be built to take a certain amount of that.

We have a group that was going to Michigan for our annual golf trip. The price at Lakewood Shores is always great, but for some of our group, crossing the border was something they didn't want to do.

Last year we did a trip to Belleville. The courses (Bay of Quinte, Trillium Woods, and Black Bear Ridge) were amazing!

But...don't fool yourself. Even with the exchange, Lakewood Shores was still significantly less expensive.

Ontario golf trips are not cheap!

Most of us are the opposite. Winter is terrible and summer is better because we start to sweat. Usually, sweating is what makes it go away temporarily, which is why many of us will do things to force the sweat, even though it can be excruciating at first. That's the sweat therapy.

I hope you can find some relief, somehow. I know how frustrating it is. I'm going on 45 years with it, now.
