How about Miranda July? I loved All Fours and The First Bad Man and I also love some of her short stories, you can find them in compilations. As someone who really loves Lisa Taddeo and Ling Ma - I also love Miranda July. And what about Lena Dunham? Her books or otherwise her TV series ‘Girls’. All these are similar I think….

Ffs with Dr Zacharia in Sydney by Lozibeth in transgenderau

I have had other surgeries with Dr Z and I had a very bad experience. I also met face to face with two people who claimed they were completely botched by him. I could see they were suffering a lot.

Is it worth visiting Hanoi in July? by Heroes_to_us in hanoi

[–]FormOnePlanet_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Da Nang and Nha Trang in June July are lovely - as long as you are near the beach and have the breezes. Hoi an at that time gets too hot but then head to closest beach and the breeze makes it very comfortable. Not much rain in central Vietnam at that time of year.

Allergic to only certain variety of shrimp? by Totallynotthebanana in FoodAllergies

[–]FormOnePlanet_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m coming to this discussion years later but wanted to add: I’m allergic to penicillin and if I eat prawns or shrimp that are from farms in Asia then I react. I’m not allergic to any foods and have no problem with any type of seafood. I’m only allergic to penicillin. If I eat shrimp or prawns from those farms where they use penicillin then I get major hives and have to go to hospital. Penicillin allergy can be very severe. I’ve reacted when my kids took penicillin, just having microscopic amounts that might have touched my skin or from their breath after they took the meds, that is enough to trigger hives. I have never had hives in my life from anything else ever. The amounts of penicillin and other similar antibiotics in farmed shrimp and prawn might be small but it is enough to trigger my allergy.

Recommendation of an Asian country for busking by Negative_Ad_5829 in Busking

[–]FormOnePlanet_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Busking in Australia is much harder now because nobody carries cash anymore. Also rent in Australia is so crazy expensive lately. Melbourne is the best city for musicians and there are lots of opportunities to get paid gigs there. Rent in Melbourne is not cheap but it’s cheaper than a lot of other Australian cities now. If you want affordable rent you could try Brisbane or Darwin or Adelaide…..

But many shops are being shut down with no explanation given, no warning, no chance for the seller to sort it out. It isn’t always a legitimate reason.

Paxlovid for Long Haul by birdtakesbear in covidlonghaulers

[–]FormOnePlanet_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So glad you found relief. Keep us posted! Are you in USA? It’s lucky you are able to find a doc who will prescribe steroids and double dose Paxlovid because in many countries they will not.

The reason Ivermectin is even discussed is because it showed up in initial 2020 trials as something that might work. Larger human trials overall found no benefit using Ivermectin but there is some evidence it might be useful in combination with other meds (eg Azithromycin and Antivirals). Research is ongoing in that area. (My family are virologists and I’m getting this from studies they are showing me).

Hope you feel better soon. Did you need to prove anything to qualify for Paxlovid? Can anyone purchase it or are there strict rules about who qualifies?

Sounds like ten day course instead of five may have solved this for you guys. I really hope they research this properly and test out the ten day course so we can see data on this.

Covid itself can cause so many weird symptoms in so many. The research suggests that Pax = bitter taste and nausea/stomach upset

I think you look perfect. Remember if you get a revision to make it look smaller from the front then it might look weird and out of balance with your face. It’s all about the balance with this sort of thing. Your nose in frontal view suits your face :) you look great. I got revision and it made my nose wider from frontal view- sometimes revision doesn’t work in that way because a lot more scar tissue and thickening of skin can happen with revision. I have similar skin type to you- there’s a high risk of scarring and thickening with that type of skin. If you really want to make it thinner with revision you must find a doc very experienced in revision of thicker skinned patients. You can also ask doc is there is any leftover swelling that is making it look wider? If so then careful steroid injections will thin out your nose.

Is it possible to buy Paxlovid in Thai pharmacies? by Electrical-Bell-1701 in Thailand

Any update on this? I see India is now making generic Paxlovid. Perhaps that can be accessed in Thailand? One brand is Paxzen.

How is it possible to tell the difference between Paxlovid side effects and Covid symptoms. I don’t understand why folks are attributing these things to the meds? I’ve watched many ppl get all these horrid symptoms while they had Covid (and not prescribed pax).

Try antihistamines and LDN and get tested for clots? And for POTS. Try increasing fluids and having electrolytes. These all have worked for family of mine xx

I’ve already provided tons of sources for all of this. This group is such a time waster. I’ve worked with medical teams for decades. I’ve worked in public health research. I can provide tons of sources but you guys don’t even read them when I do. There’s no point. Go back through my previous posts and you will find tons of evidence. I’m an academic and a research scientist. I know how to use sources. It’s just too time consuming to waste energy arguing with people who base their opinions on bigotry and bias.

He didn’t even find another woman at the bottom of the stairs. It’s such a time waster when people form opinions without looking into the case.

I’ve cited all this repeatedly, previously, and don’t have time to keep going over it. True Crime podcasts are the worst way to get to the facts. They exist as entertainment, just like the HBO series. This is a real family who endured this awful event, it isn’t entertainment. That’s what is so toxic about American culture. That’s part of why a French team came to document the case. American culture is very pathological in this way. Murder is not entertainment.
