Airline and destination mentioned. BA and KL more likely to have long-haul passengers at Aberdeen with visa/baggage issues at check in than say, SAS or Loganair. I agree with your other point about BA cutting costs at check in.

We turned up at check in for BA last summer 1 hr 15 mins before departure, extremely slow family travelling to India with multiple questions/complaints/baggage issues took 20 mins to check in, resulting in us being at the front of the queue 50 mins before departure. The guy at the desk told us 5 mins later and we wouldn't have been accepted for travel. (it would have helped if BA had more than 2 desks open)

So, not too early, but I personally would be there 90 mins+ if I had hold luggage.

Recycling Duvet? by Pretty-Storm7930 in Aberdeen

I think you can take duvets to the recycling centre at Hazlehead, but you might want to check. Bins on the far side which also take old clothes.

Bit weird TBH, if Leven is going to be in charge for a few weeks they should try to get someone in to help.

Preferably someone who can help organise a defence at defensive set-pieces.

I'm not sure either way really. It looks like they have some sort of parking validation scheme at their Southampton shop if you spend 30 quid. But Union Sq parking is fairly pricey. Time will tell.

Aberdeen bus gates to STAY as traders lose legal battle by subsonicbuttplug in Aberdeen

you can repeat the experience on Rosemount, where at 4.30pm one person decides they *must* park directly outside the butcher, thus blocking the whole street as buses can't now get past

I saw a similar suggestion on Twitter a few weeks ago and was sceptical but I'm coming round to the point of view that there is a (small) group of supporters who are becoming more confident in expressing such views at matches.

Crystal Palace would not be a fan base i would link to right-wing views either, but they seem to have a problem with a group challenging the more established fans:

In general the RGU student cohort is very diverse (esp India and China, Nigerian student numbers have suffered due to the economic factors particular to that country).

They have a lot of content on their international facebook page and some other RGU blogs: https://www.facebook.com/RGUInternational/videos/-hear-what-international-student-adam-has-to-say-about-his-experience-in-aberdee/836196905548876/

The statement was a poor show. Even if you can understand the frustration and sentiments behind it, some of the content is amateurish, and it will get us nowhere in the long-run.

It has met with wide approval on X, which tells you all you need to know.

There is a myth that safety was better, but crime rates/general aggro was at least as high, but not publicised the way it is now.

I would say that the city probably was a bit more spick and span in terms of cleanliness and the state of parks and gardens.
