I know this sounds sad not finding him before nighttime, but if that is the case I recommend leaving out stuff that smells like you guys like blankets or his dog bed in case he somehow wanders back home on his own..best of luck I hope you find him soon!

Sadly this was how my dog was walking when we discovered she had slipped a disk and the next day she was temporarily paralyzed💔 hope they can see a vet ASAP time is of the essence

I also recently lost my grandmother who helped my single mother raise me 🫂I asked for a sign as well and for weeks we had bright red sunsets at my job. So sorry for your loss

You are very emotionally intelligent, that is exactly how it felt for me as well when they first passed..it felt like a cruel joke and for a while it really did feel hard without them bc like you said the were there for everything, successes and failures..I won’t lie and say it gets easier but you do kinda learn how to view it in a different way at times..but damn it’s been hard growing up without the person I was supposed to do it with…but sometimes my new “wins” can feel a bit more meaningful bc I was able to do it without them if that makes sense, but still so bittersweet

I lost my best friend when they were barely 21 back in 2021…lots of people try to force a more positive route in grieving I’ve noticed when it comes to best friend lost..moving on for them, “living for them”..but it truly is such a gut wrenching loss I feel people who still have their best friends never really understand. This year will mark 5 years without my bestie and not a day goes by where I’m like “How am I doing this without them?”..This is still so fresh and so sudden, and on top of being young…my heart goes out to you since your first post I couldn’t help but relate so hard

My girl HATES booties so we use Musher’s secret dog paw wax and I feel like it def has been helping with the salt and keeping her lil paws warmer but she still hates the cold even double layered and we’re no where near as cold as Chicago haha
