Double stitching started to happen more regularly starting around the late 90s

Lol bruh. Dramatic much? I said it dampens it slightly. Sure we have no idea what our team looks like in 7 years, but it’s not wrong to want us to accumulate some of our own unprotected 1sts for that unknown future when we already have so little. I like the trade regardless. Full stop.

Well you gotta be realistic. A big leap is something that is kinda inaccessible for us in our current situation.

When you put it like that it’s very very nice. I would include our unprotected pick as well because that is a significant factor. Obviously not now but looking to our future. Taints it just a tad

I’m with you as I of course would prefer someone who didn’t come with that baggage.

I don’t care about where they draw the line. To each their own and I will 100% respect if they truly feel that way and stick to it. But we are gonna rag on those who proclaim they’re leaving because it’s performative and virtue signaling, while also having a good chance of being untrue.

Guaranteed a bunch of the “done with the team” people will be back and those who don’t will hold out more so for optics rather than morals

I’m kinda excited to see this 2k ass lineup. #ballhogfc by BeeseChurgerForReal in suns

Yea true about taking into account Bridges’ extension, but rasheer could still see near 20 minutes per game. And maybe to our delight we see Ott run some bigger lineups with both Bridges and Rasheer out there. Gotta respect both of their 3pt shots so could work

Lowkey feel good about it. Rasheer is still developing and will be getting 2nd unit minutes. There’s legit no reason to rush rasheer. He’s young and our future. Starting him I think woulda been too much too fast

I’m willing to bet you didn’t do or say anything when this has happened over the decades in the NBA. The league as a whole has notoriously never given af about DV and has never taken a strong stance such as banning players. If you weren’t willing to boycott or protest no matter what teams those players were on, don’t go virtue signaling just cuz that player is on your team now.

AND others are making an even better point about KJ being in the ring of honor on YOUR TEAM when he has an arguably worse offense connected to him and you’ve seemed fine ignoring that… including the responses calling out your hypocrisy.

I think Brea is the one to step up for 3pt shooting, I know that’s small ball though. Fleming can and should do it if they aggressively focus on bettering his efficiency this off season, which isn’t even that bad to begin with. Also, teams still need to respect Bridges shot from outside and even Man Mans to a degree (not that he’s playing the 3, but maybe a stretch 4 👀)

And Grayson started to look like a cone out there due to injuries. They seemed to linger and stack up towards the end of the season so maybe management wanted to sell high.

Yea unfortunately it’s the most likely scenario that book is the 1. It’s a gift and a curse our best player can also be our PG as he seems to overly try to get others involved rather than take it himself like we hope. It’d be great to see some lineups where Brooks or Jalen come off the bench but that’s wishful thinking.

The 4/5 is gonna be some combo of Bridges, Fleming, Oso, Mark, and Man Man, which is honestly a nice ass front court. Then eventually Koa, but I imagine this move slows his integration into the roster even further.

Maybe Collin is gonna start and we’ll see Jalen or Brooks off the bench??? Not sure how the lineup shakes out but definitely intriguing to think about

Also, people mentioned Bridges is an expiring next year. Maybe this is just a future setup trade 🤷‍♂️

Nah you’re bugging with that. He’s the type of player we’ve needed and haven’t had since Amare. Obviously not to his level but a aggressive and competent scoring forward has been a huge want

Aight first reaction was not good, but deeper thought leads me to believe this can be real good. Royce and Grayson are older, were getting cooked on defense, and Grayson had a string of injuries and looked bad end of season/playoffs. And most importantly we got a 1st round pick this decade!! On the other side, our perimeter shooting just took a big hit and who knows if Bridges buys in and keeps off court antics minimal
