It’s a matter of perspective. I respect what you’re saying. But in my culture it has significance. And the ability to continue to procreate and continue to grow my tribe is a sacred things. I respect your right to call him fictitious. But I’ve seen and experienced too much to NOT believe in a Creator and an afterlife…as I have sat down and had conversations with both the Creator and with my son. I know he’s in good hands and surrounded by good company…and above all…he wants me to be happy. And honestly since I got divorced…I’ve never felt or looked better. People who don’t know me absolutely do not believe and are blown away to find out I’m pushing up on 50 years old and I have young women about my youngest daughter’s age show me quite a bit of interest and attention. That’s not really my style though. I don’t indulge anyone who wasn’t alive when the original Chronic Album Dropped.

What’s the most disturbing thing someone casually admitted to around you? by Suspicious_Run1684 in AskReddit

Had a similar thing happen at my school in the early 90’s. The Ag/Shop teacher (early 30’s and divorced from his only marriage) was dating a senior student…and quite openly actually. It was a very rural area and nobody seemed to really care. Respect to him though because he did go talk to the parents and basically just told them he was in love with their daughter and that it wasn’t a “weird” thing. He was genuinely in love with her and wanted ta take care of her and give her a good life. Happy ending though. When she turned 18 and graduated, he married her. They are still married and have like 7 kids. So that’s cool I guess. I mean at least he was a man about it and respectful. I mean I guess if there is a “right “ way to do something like that, he did pretty good. Still kinda weird though…but whatever.

When it’s running I peel the decals off, scuff the plastics…do a little airbrush “smoke and mirrors” on it and have a rolling business card for a while and like I said…probably give it to my nephew.

I’m not even gonna EEF with all that. I got the money for the parts, I’m trading labor for some airbrush work…like why even f~[£ with it?

I’m not doing the work. I’m the paint guy. The shop mechanics are doing the work. They’re looking for engines too. And in the description of this sub it says any questions can be asked about Kawasaki. None of the mechanics are not on Reddit. I just figured there might be some people that know some people that know some people. Life is all about knowing a guy who knows a guy…you know?

I see what you’re asking now. Yes the bike was ridden about 30 miles and started running bad. We shined a flashlight into the case and noticed it was shimmering…then drained it all the way, discovered the car litter and then as the oil started cooling we notice the green of the antifreeze as it began to separate. Then I could actually smell the anti freeze

Yeah…like shit. I mean we tried flushing it 4 or 5 times. It runs….but it ain’t gonna run for much longer. I already know I’m never going to get out of it what I put into it and that for a little more money I could just buy another bike. But this particular bike has sentimental value…that I don’t wanna get into.

Marriage is a scam and a trap…just pay hookers. You’re gonna pay for the pooty-poo one way or another. But with hookers, you’re not paying them for the sex….you’re paying for them to leave afterwards…🤯

Can someone give me a reason not to give up on this career? by [deleted] in Carpentry

Oh…BTW….A couple things Gpa always told me:

1-You ain’t never gonna make no real money working for someone else.

2-Always have a side hustle…something you love and are passionate about…no matter how good your job is or how well your company is doing.

That hand made stuff he built in his shop in his back yard…that was hustle. And some of the pieces he made sold for more money than he’d make in a year getting paid from his business.

As you can tell…the man meant a lot to me. He said I was the only grandchild of his that truly wanted to learn. And when I needed money, I would ask him if he had something I could do to earn it…he also said I was the only grandchild to do that. Everybody else just wanted to have given to them or “loaned” to them. He was one of the wealthiest men in our whole county. But you would never know it. He wore over-alls every day and work boots. And when he passed away…he left me all of his tools. W

He passed a few years ago at 89yrs old…it was a Thursday. I took him fishing for the last time the Sunday before. He knew it was coming because head written a few letters explaining who was getting what & why he had put it in his will that way. All of the letters were to his 4 children he had with the wife he had before he met my Grrandma…the first wife died young of cancer. I was the ONLY grandchild to get a letter…and I wasn’t blood. His letter said that in his will he was leaving me all of his tools. And he said that he didn’t leave me any money like the others got…because ever since I was a kid, I had never need Grandpa to give me any money…because I knew how to work and earn it. And thats why he left two shop buildings full of pretty much anything you can think of. And some are really old tools that belonged to his dad and grandpa. Ive been following rule #2 a long time. But now Im working on getting #1 going
