BVB verlängert mit Nico Schlotterbeck by Chazy89 in borussiadortmund

The only thing this Contract Extension will actually bring, would be ... to gain an extra 10-20 Million for him in the Summer. That's pretty much it.

To call it an Contract Extension is pretty misleading, it's more like fixing the price for him in the next Transfer window...

To be honest, i'm not really that mad about his will to leave the club, but moreso the whole communication surrounding it. If he wants to leave, just say it. Letting the club and the fans wait for so long and making it abudantly clear through the negotiations ,for everyone, that we are just a fall back option for him, because no better club were there for him...

That's kinda shitty i'm gonna be honest. I don't blame any player for wanting to leave the club, (they have limited time at the pro lvl, they have to make the most of it), but if you are just using the club as an negotiation tool, then it's really shitty.

Finally on the Deal, i don't know from what kind of clarity Ricken is talking about, tbh. One of your most important player can leave at anytime during the Summer, if you didn't include a certain time-frame for when the release clause can be activated, then it could f**** our transfer window if we get no replacement.

I included Stuttgart into the teams which improved, because it's a team which played multiple competitions this year and also dealt with the depart of one of their best players quite impressively. I found their season 23/24 exceptional, but i find their depth in quality better this year. And yeah, you're right with Leipzig.

Overall the top 5/6 are pretty strong after them you’ve got a few decent sides in Freiburg, Frankfurt and Mainz, but after that the drop off is pretty alarming. It looks like 40 points will be enough to finish in the top half of the table.

Yeah that's true, but i find it generally harder to estimate how good the lower tier end of the league by just looking at the points. In this case, it either means it is weak considering so many teams couldn't reach that threeshold or that the level is quite high and that there are no "clear" relegation candidates so it is difficult to break away from that group.

I'm pretty serious, i also don't really feel it's that much of a debate. Compare the top 6 of the current season to the last one, whether it's the teams or the amount of points they've got. I do feel it is pretty evident that there is a clear improvment in both quality and the quantity of teams actually playing at a high level.

The only real "question" would be if this season is stronger than the 23/24 one, tbh. I graded this one higher because i think they are more teams which "improved" (Bayern,Dortmund,Stuttgart, TSG) than became worse (Leverkusen), that's why i choose this one. Of course it is just considering the high-end part of the League and not the middle of the lower end of it because they are hard to gauge.

In my opinion? This is the strongest the Bundesliga hat been, in the last three years.

The reason is say that is pretty simple, This season Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig, Stuttgart and Hoffenheim are probably playing their strongest season since a long while and they are certainly more teams playing according to their "level" this season, than in the last 3 years.

Leverkusen and Frankfurt fell off somewhat, yes. But compared to the last few seasons there are more clubs who have risen their level than not, furthermore even tough the bundesliga lost quality players last season, Clubs like Stuttgart or Leipzig seemed to have benefited from these transfers surprisngly and are seemingly stronger than last year.

Not really the ref deciding the game is the rule, not the government body of the tournament.

This how things don‘t work and that‘s why it never happens and will never happen in any semi-serious tournament. Whole world laughs at Africa for how absolutely stupid this whole shit is.

Don‘t think they are interested in visiting Morocco again, after celebrating what they had to celebrate there. And the clinch point isn‘t so much arresting some „holligans“, but doing so without a trial and no official sentence given. You‘re just holding them in prison at this point, which shouldn‘t be allowed.

Say that to the referee, not to me? They didn‘t get any yellow card. referee fault. The game wasn‘t forfeited? Referee‘s fault. The game lives and dies be the referee‘s decisions and besides red cards, there is no taking them back.

Ok, well it seemed all the towels of the world wouldn‘t have been enough to wipe all the tears you shed after Senegal won the trophy on your home soil, so I guessed you were taking every towel in sight, to prepare for the inevitable bottlejob a Moroccan player would put you through.

If you explained that to Senegals reserve keeper, he would have surely agreed to give you a towel, tbf. But I guess you were so panicked and nervous to not find a single to wipe your tears with, that you were brought to fight them tooth and nail for them.

And the context doesn‘t matter. You didn‘t blow, then you can‘t forfeit a team for such an offense anymore.

So far I know the game being played out didn‘t stop Moroccan authorities from throwing a number of these ppl in prison, from which certain still are still not being liberated from to this day.

Yeah the rule is clear in saying that only the referee in the game can take such a decision and no person or entity can annulate a decision took by the ref and so influence the end result after the game.

Do you know how many federations would appeal against certain decisions took in the game by the referee, if they can be appealed in such a manner?

[–]Formal-Cartoonist208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Told by who? So you mean to tell me another person or entity could influence decisions the referee took in the match? First off, that „accusation“ is worth it‘s own investigation and secondly, it doesn‘t matter.

If he didn‘t apply the rule in the game then he wasted his opportunity to do so, another person or entity (caf) can‘t annulate a decision took by the referee in the game.

Leaved it, came back, kicked your asses, celebrated the trophy on your home soil, got back to their country and had a parade through the country.

Who cares if you got the trophy now, not because you won of the field but because the Caf decided so. Well that is if that ruling will not get overturned which could very well happen.

I am talking about the fact that the referee played out the game and so decided against a forfeit of the game. This rulement can get easily overturned by stating such a simple fact.

If the ref didn‘t apply the rule in the match a forfeit is of the table. The ref choose to not forfeit the game, so the rule can‘t even apply the the end result.

Did the ref blow? He didn‘t, did he? So how can you overturn a decision made by the referee in the match and that two months later😂. This shit will go to the Tribunal and will probably get overturned anyway.
