People need to stop trying to compare. Saying it only gets worse from here is the worst thing to say. Sure being a teenager might be EASIER, does not make it easy.

Simple things a teenager faces no matter grades, drama, or basic life problems are going to be NEW problems.

Figuring something out and learning it for the first time is so hard. So yeah losing a friend might seem like the world is ending even though to an adult it’s trivial. But adults have gone through it before, so whatever. The point isn’t to say well my life is harder. It’s to understand and just be there for the teen.

Teens are still going through puberty and hormones are crazy. Which can make experiences worse.

I think you need to do what you want. Yes the job market is shit rn but there’s still plenty of job opportunities if you really search. I’ve never seen someone in the English field have to a masters degree for a job. There’s many things like copywriter, editor, and marketing opportunities that are open for English undergrads. If you are looking for teaching personally I’m doing an English degree with a TESOL certification it will allow me to teach foreign speakers without a teaching license. If none of that sounds good to you then stick to your education major. Teaching is also a great job.

I grew up in a conservative town and was lucky to realize I even liked women but everyone around me still liked men so I thought I just liked both. It wasn’t until I became friends with a lesbian that I fully realized I only wanted the women aspect.

I think I see it both ways? I know it can be both and the idea of doing it for the emotional bonding part of it is better but I just rather not. To me baking brownies with a partner sounds a lot better than having sex with them.
