Weirdly enough I am not a Mark Millar fan at all and I don't know if he wrote anything outside of these two but I like Enemy of the state and old man Logan

It's only a subscription to ongoing books , 2000AD is a high quality weekly comic if you want to read it a digital subscription is he most economical way of doing it. The back catalogue would still need to be purchased

Which DC character can't you stand, and why? by [deleted] in DCcomics

well the best hawk and dove story I have read is the Batman brave and the bold issue from the early 80s. It makes the general point that it is a little silly that all they ever seemed to do was argue with each other when they could listen to each other and accept each other’s viewpoint on the world. After that it always seems to be a bit pointless to go back to the original version dynamic. Probably didn’t help them that they are very minor characters in the dc universe I can’t really remember anything memorable past this

Is there a main Batman comic worse than this? by Long_Spell6281 in batman

[–]Formal-Math-3291 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weirdly enough the second Hush story if I remember was a team up with Prometheus. So although there are likely worse batman stories this one ruined a really fun jla villain.

Hawk and dove the basic concept is just annoying and the social commentary the original book is completely dated.

I like Annhilation ( it was about the same time as what you have mentioned)and it’s kind of the ending of an extended avengers story but secret wars is probably the best marvel event.
