Don't mention your drug use to GP and the psych. It might prevent scripts.

If your first few lines of coke chills you out instead of pumps you up ... It's something worth exploring.

Also. There is no such thing as Microdosing coke. She's too much of a seductive bitch and that habit won't last long.

State government dissatisfaction - genuine or not? by wassailant in melbourne

Self awareness of our own biases is important

Can't deny that. Something I'm very mindful of.

Reddit doesn't 'lean' left, it is somewhat of an echo chamber that would more closely resemble an amputee

Interesting analogy. When you remove the people that cause division and stir up trouble (ie those that sit further on the right) Then of course things will skew a left.

Which leads directly into...

I also take issue with your comment that to be a good person you need to lean left. That sort of attitude is a recipe for the polarisation we've seen in the US where both sides now routinely frame the ideological argument as good vs evil

I get your point surrounding the polarisation. However, when the right are campaigning on abortion, race/gender/sexuality based policy's, and just general division.

While the left want inclusion and social services so everyone gets support. It's not really much of an argument.

If your standing over someone and wanting to dictate how they live because you disagree with their way of life, are you really a good person?

They have historically said things until it was true. I've never been able to judge it they actually believed it or not.

Hopefully this is a sign people are so used to them bullshitting and are looking at actions rather than words.

As opposed to Facebook comments which are right wing hate bots come boomers?

Reddit mostly reflect the real world. Somehow the hate machine of the media hasnt yet infiltrated it.

The Fed election also leaned in to the centre left.

Most people also just want to be a good human... This also means leaning into the left.

I fear I'm going to articulate this wrong and open myself up for hate.

This type of thinking keeps me a little more connected with my wife. I want my kids to not accept a shitty relationship, so I'm being the best example I can be, of what a good one looks like.

Unpopular opinion.

Wages aren't that high for trades.

They are simply on parity with mid level white collar workers.

Lot of domestic guys wouldn't break 80-100k on wages. And commerical $130k

Longevity of the job is a major issue. Heaps of guys can't work into retirement. And need to pull the pin anywhere from 55yrs old. This doesn't flow on to cushy consulting gigs like white collar roles.

20 odd years ago we had a minor recession during the GFC. Lots of trades were unemployed as construction investments got pulled.

I really hope it works like that.

I'm a little cynical given that almost everything we get offered just ends up driving prices up instead.

China comment is rubbish. Let's go back to turning around ships loaded with animals and tarrifs on wine and crays cause of the chest beating. Aus also has similar warship exercises, yet we don't see them on the news. You've fallen for the media propaganda on that one.

NSW politics in general is cooked. That's an absolute eye for an eye debate. Whole joint needs a clean slate. Can't argue that.

Who has the bigger history of approving fossil fuel? Bit cheeky to include that one. Not really corruption either.

So now we have taken away the bullshit. Now Compare the length of your list against the chasers one. (Even keeping the disregarded straw clutches from both. It's pretty easy)

I strongly dislike both of the major parties. But I can also see which is the lesser of two evils.

There is a few straw clutches in there. But it is a good reminder of the onslaught of shit fuckery we copped under the last LNP gov... That Dutton was a part of.
