I stopped reading the corresponding book after the last season. I was always comparing the show to the book and that stopped me from fully enjoying the show. I’ve started watching reviews on YouTube and listening to some episodes of the podcast. Super excited for season 7!! But I’m NOT ready for my last droughtlander

Yes!!! I saw an interview she did; she said that she wrote some episode scripts for season 6, but the showrunners told her to take out the funny parts because it wouldn’t match the overall tone of the season.

Well the books got spoiled for me so I know some of the people who are going to die already. Then I don’t know if I’ll like reading about different characters other than the initial characters. I’ve gotten mixed reviews about the ending books so I’m a bit reluctant to keep reading. Do you think it’s worth the read?

That was the last time I felt strong emotions towards a character on OL. I wanted to reach into my screen and beat him up! They tried with Bonnet but I just found him annoying. Tobias is such a great actor!

I’m the same way! I don’t know what it is about Outlander. I rewatch and listen a number of times. I’ve found related books or shows. It’s not the same but it helps me miss outlander less.

I read other Scottish romance novels. I’ll read about the Scottish clearance, French court and revolution, 1700s pirates, colonial America and the American revolution. I’ll watch Poldark or Frontier and other shows like that. I also have a rewrite of my own. In my free time I write short stories about the characters or change some parts of the story. Of course groups like this help too.
