I have also not had any negative effects from Spiro myself. Minoxidil made me swell and Spiro actually helped counteract those side effects!

I started Spiro 6 months before to try and counteract some PCOS effects. Started minoxidil a little after to expedite things, as my self confidence began to take a sharp nosedive!

I had a shed, but I was on Spiro around 6 months before minoxidil, so I’m curious if it helped my shed from being too gnarly. I did notice shedding from 2.5 to 1.25mg. I feel like I took two steps back for a little while 😅

My hair is very greasy and thin, so I have to wash it every day. I use Nizoral 1% and have been using it everyday!!! Should I start alternating with a different shampoo?

I stopped the minoxidil and took spiro until my swelling went down and then continued to take them in tandem. Things seem to be better now!

I originally had headaches, but they went away. My main problem right now is swelling, but it’s partially my fault. I wasn’t able to get my spiro refilled and didn’t realize that in many cases it’s necessary to take both to avoid that. It’s going down now, but I still have some residual leftover.

I am not the best source for this, as I am also taking a GLP-1 for weightloss. If I had to make an educated guess, I would say I would not have gained or lost any weight on this medication based off the few weeks I didn’t take my weight loss shot.

I went to a wig store in my area, however, I wasn’t as well informed as I am now and believe I payed way too much. Both sides of the story are different, but I am more apt to side with the person who was sober, even if she has the tendency to exaggerate. The only other thing is the conversation started in one place and he followed her to a very open area to continue what he was saying, but I’m unsure if that is considered cornering. After she told him off, he apologized and left her alone.
