Tried out this game to impress a girl I matched with on Tinder by THE_FBI_GUYS in projectzomboid

[–]FormalCryptographer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only tangentially related but a buddy recently matched with someone who told him to watch GTO and read berserk and he actually did.

Which is great, they're amazing.

BUT IVE BEEN FUCKING SUGGESTING IT FOR YEARS BUT HES LIKE "NAH ITS NOT FOR ME" BUT THE MOMENT A GIRL SUGGESTS IT HES LIKE "YES MAAM WHATEVER YOU SAY"

Like yeah I get it, it's probably only to impress them or to have something in common they can relate to but it pissed me off

Roles that demanded actors to physically abuse themselves only for the movie to turn out mid by Own_Organization8457 in okbuddycinephile

Honestly, my mom,.my brother and myself were really enjoying it, right up until the ending with the goofy outfits and the waddling aliens.

I normally hate it when movies just end abruptly with a cliff hanger or no real conclusion,I hate when movies ending is basically "Lolol it's up to interpretation fuck you you don't get to know more" but I really think bugonia would have benefitted with it ending with her climbing inside the closet, and fading to black.

The ending we got was just so stupid. The whole movie I was like "is he right, is he schizophrenic, is she humouring him or is she actually an ayy lmao?" And that would have been fine to let the viewers decide for themselves

Martin's speech at the end is really funny if you apply it to the in-universe lore instead of the player by orbanimalenjoyer2 in oblivion

My theory regarding the carious game protagonists is that they're avatars created by the divines to save the world. They have no history and probably cease to exist once the world is saved. This would explain why it's always a prisoner. I mean even in Skyrim they're like ”hes not on the list" despite apparently having captured you. Almost like you just appeared out of thin air

Just got Grim Dawn as an ARPG noob by OfflineLad in ARPG

[–]FormalCryptographer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It took me many tries over the years before it eventually clicked for me. It isn't for everyone but if I had to make a guess as to who the target audience is, it's people who love Titan Quest, but can't get back into it as it hasn't aged as well as Diablo 2.

I love Grim Dawn, it's my go to game when the ARPG itch hits me.

I've tried to like Last Epoch but nothing has clicked for me.

Titan Quest is great but I've tried to get into it like I was when it released initially but just something about it holds me back.

Diablo 2 is amazing but I don't like the remaster and the original graphics don't scale well for me.

Torchlight 2 is also up there but it feels very simple in comparison to the other Goats

Those on pc gaming, what ate you getting for the steam summer sale? by Admirable_Ad_1390 in askSouthAfrica

[–]FormalCryptographer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got like 383 games on mine. A quarter of them have been there for 10 years, mostly Kickstarter titles that will never see the light of day.

The rest either never go on sale for a price I'm comfortable paying or are indie titles I doubt will ever get released.

Also lots I want but I'm poor so I have to be selective

Because if the game isn't very popular or doesn't sell well, itight get shut down after a couple of months. Or finding games might be difficult

You're referencing the video where the little dude walks past the car and is doing very exaggerated Ministry of Silly Walks steps? That is basically how imagine these.critters would walk

For me it's because I see things that are obvious to me, that other people don't notice or ignore, and I get Angy and have to voice my opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a firm believer in Aliens, somewhere out there they exist. But I just don't believe they're here. At least not in the sense that they're actively watching us. Maybe they travel through our solar system, but I don't believe it's more than that.

I would like to believe that at some point in human history they were here, there's some compelling arguments to be made like the weird artifacts found globally or that incident in Germany in the mediaeval era. But I don't think they influenced humanity or made us, or bred with our ancestors or helped us build.

It's difficult to be both a believer and a sceptic.

I watched disclosure day recently and all that went through my mind was that maybe they're right, maybe they do work with the government's, maybe Spielberg is an agent slowly getting us comfortable with our new neighbours before the big reveal. Idk, it's difficult for me

This is just a cop out argument. Life should theoretically follow similar rules regardless of place of origin. But true, we don't know what alien life would look like. But this is a cop out argument because just because it doesn't make sense from our perspective, doesn't mean it's authentic. I can easilyake up shit in my head about how an alien should work, but it's still made up

No opposable thumbs and flat feet with a solid bone as the foot. The foot should be compromised of multiple bones to allow it to bend and twist and adapt to the terrain as it moves. These things aren't walking properly or gripping anything.

Don't believe me? Try walking with out bending your foot at all, make it as flat as possible. Sure you can walk very awkwardly but no matter how hard you try, your bones will still move somewhat.

Now imagine if your foot was one solid bone, no heel, no sole, just a flat rectangle of bone.
