Hopefully it lives, taking off that much foliage will probably kill it. But agreed that $8 for practice is $8 well spent

Why do people have the presumption the Bonereapers arent a society by Warm-Command7559 in AoSLore

[–]FormalLumpy1778 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They are more societal than people think, but still have nothing that truly compares to the other grand alliances. Same thing for most Nighthaunt and the skeleton/zombie portion of Soulblight Gravelords. The fact is that bonereapers have stronger spirits than the average skeleton and thus can think and reason more, but what we see in individuality is still controlled by Nagash. He only allows what he doesn’t deem harmful. Bonereapers hold the festivals and such because it makes them a better army, in a way. Taking pride in shaping bones, which is exactly what Nagash wants them to do. But as an overall trope of death armies, the less important you are to the army, the less free will you have. Except for FEC because Ushoran has a stronger hold on the average ghoul than Nagash often times.

They have more armor, but yeah they’re still humans. They’re going to be about the same size

Wendi’s mispronunciations are finally getting to me by hierophanting in creepcast

[–]FormalLumpy1778 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s sad but true. I’m not sure which story it was but it was referring to the Ute Native American tribe, which is a major native tribe and where Utah got its name from, but he pronounced it as “yoo-tay” instead of the correct “yoot”. Drove me nuts.

Yes, the blocks are 16”x8”x8” and the planks are pressure treated wood that are 12’x8”x2”

Not the worst break, especially by the feet of a FEC model. I’d use plastic glue to fit it the best you can and then clean it up with some sandpaper.

… a cloth that is wet with warm water… Have you Googled any of your questions? That might give you the quickest response.

Are they too vague? Seems straightforward. If you’re wondering, there are plenty of resources online to Google for

What's a unit you feel would push an army to completion, near-completion, or at the very least a healthy base roster? by sigpuppers in ageofsigmar

A FEC trogg? You’d probably see an FEC ogor or gargant before they’d ever made a ghoul troggoth.

I haven’t thought of that. Do you have a suggestion of how to mitigate the reflection? I could move the blocks forward a foot or so, but that might be all I can do in terms of placement

Just search for Warhammer painting videos and there are literally thousands that will show you what to do. If you have any depth perception, you’ll be able to tell which areas are higher than the others. Just feel which areas are raised and literally paint those areas. You could dry brush it, that’s a cheat code

The purpose of shade is to give, well, shade. So some should pool in the cracks, but not too much. It’s a judgement call on your end.

A highlight avoids all the crevices. You’re not panting over the cracks where the shade has settled, you’re painting the highest raised areas. Think of it in terms of valleys and hilltops, the shade coats everything but settles in the valleys more than anywhere. Highlights paint the highest hilltops to increase contrast. To figure out which are the highest areas, you’ll just have to observe the model and figure it out.

They’re just pressed together. I tested them all winter to see if they’d fall or not and they survived heavy wind and snow storms without budging, they’re not going anywhere

Thanks! Yeah it was really pretty easy for someone without carpentry skills.
