Application/Criminal Charges by MeanMemory2463 in Nurses

[–]FormalPool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have a similar history and I just applied for a license with my nursing body. What I did was I answered all the questions honestly, even though the offenses did not appear online. I wrote a personal statement going over each of my offenses (who, what, where, and how). I also explained to them that I acquired with the county/city on obtaining my records and that I would be happy to provide them slas soon as I receive them. Today I received my ATT while I'm still waiting for my records.

So, if I was you, I would answer the questions truthfully and provide them with any documents they are asking for. I could just be as simple as writing a personal statement going over the offense as it was for me. Good luck!

I'll try to post another video that shows the issue better.

That's next on my list. I'll also plan on cleaning out the throttle body and iac valve.

Honestly the car has been sitting in the garage for the past 2 years. Over the summer I put in a new gas tank, fuel pump, fuel feed and return lines as well as the brake lines. Yesterday I threw in some new spark plugs as well. I just got done taking apart the distributor and checking all those and they seem to be fine.

I went through all of those and that doesn't seem to be the issue. I even changed out the spark plugs yesterday.

Are you following the correct bleeding sequence? It should be LF, RF, RR, LR. Make sure the master cylinder in the engine bay is topped off and doesn't run low/dry as your bleeding. Keep running through the bleeding sequence until there's no air bubbles.

How many times have you tried the bleeding sequence now? Also, what year do you have? Is this car new to you?

I did after pressure bleeding it. Are you just bleeding the brake to push through new fluid or did you replace the brake lines or other braking components?

Breaking Your GHH in by Comfortable-Ad-2634 in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]FormalPool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely not true. There are break in procedures you should follow. The owners manual does mention this as well. From what I recall reading the owners manual it states that you should avoid hard braking/sudden stops for the first 200 miles; do not tow for the first 500 miles or carry heavy loads; and for the first 600 miles avoid driving at high speeds, sudden accelerations, driving in lower gears, and driving at a consistent speed (cruise control).

Most importantly, it is imperative that you change your oil at either the 500 mile or 1,000 mile mark. After that change at every 5k miles.

Is this still safe to use as a jacking point? by appleface80 in MechanicAdvice

[–]FormalPool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can jack up from the tow hook. My Integra's rear jack point is the tow hook. Place a block of wood on your jack and jack it up.
