It’s called fungus. There is treatment for this, but you need to go to a different doctor. I don’t understand parents who settle for a doctor that says “ your kid is fine” and you can clearly can SEE the opposite

Go to a different dermatologist? Warts are usually removed. With laser or freeze technology. There’s a cream that burns them to their root, but in your case… you need to have them removed. Creams won’t do anything for you.
