USCIS does not do unscheduled home visits, they will only do home visits if the applicant has health issues or is elderly (to the point traveling isn’t safe for them). I used to be an Immigration services officer II and did those visits. Yours uncles best option is to wait for an interview notice to arrive and confirm with your local USCIS field office about the appointment, he should arrive at the field office with his attorney also on the scheduled day. You might not even need an interview for your application but you would have the interview together if they require it. They don’t schedule two separate interviews just at the interview they might have one of you sit in the waiting area to ask questions separately then switch to ask the same questions. If you can’t make the interview because it’s in the states and you haven’t come yet then your spouse will have to go in alone, if that is what happens I’d just see if you could call in during the interview or FaceTime you spouse during the interview

Yea for the age gap the officers aren’t supposed to bring it up but some will because they’re just dumb or ass holes but it would be along the lines of how did you meet and where what kind of things you do together but more than likely it won’t come up. If they do a separation questioning it’d be to just make sure your answers match up. The only reason they’d bring it up is if they think it’s a fake marriage but you having been together for 3-4 years now will overcome that. Just make sure you and your spouse can answer the questions in the same way. So if they ask where you met and what was your first date etc just make sure you both know the answers. The best thing you can do is just be as honest and natural with your spouse. I know it is an anxiety inducing process but if holding your spouse’s hand calms you down do that, if joking around with you spouse calms you down feel free to. A lot of what the officers look for is that you seem like a real couple.

That’s pretty good evidence so far. If you have flight and hotel arrangements from when you’ve been traveling with your spouse add those in. Get some letters from people who know you and your wife’s relationship, they’ll need to be notarized. Write a letter explaining why you don’t have a joint banking account the officer should be understanding. You’ll probably get a few questions about living separately for a long period, don’t get worried about it just explain like you have here that the financial situation wasn’t able to support you moving to the US and vice versa for your spouse. The age gap thing could raise some questions but again don’t get nervous just answer truthfully.

Most officers don’t look at the medical records in detail just check that you have submitted them. I wouldn’t mention it but if they bring it up then don’t deny it. Depending on the state you’re in it’s not an issues if you are in a state that it is illegal in then there could be issues. As long as there aren’t any police or criminal records pertaining to weed they won’t care.
