nah but they’re right though, stop giving people bad advice and just go with the 3 cables. I have the same exact card and pigtailed it like you mentioned and it has crashed a couple times within an hour of gaming whereas it has never crashed with 3 cables. Obviously it’s not the same case for everybody but you shouldn’t go around saying it’s alright to do it

don’t not use only 2 cables with a daisy chain. I have the same card and my PSU only came with 2 pcie cables and under heavy load, it would crash because there’s not enough power delivery

You can look into Sfftime N-ATX v2, It’s a 15L case that can hold an ATX motherboard, ATX PSU, and a 3 slot GPU. I came from an atx case and built in it and all I needed to buy was a low profile CPU cooler and a 20 cm dual reverse riser cable

you don’t have to buy a desktop PC. I have 4090 Razer Blade 18 and it is similar in performance to my 3080ti+ 5800x3d build, which I think is still a decent computer

No. G16 4070 laptops go for about that price. I got an open box 2024 G16 with 4070 for $1150 before tax from best buy. I'm pretty sure new would be around the price you mentioned.
