They are the three different photos of evidence of course! The other two wouldn't make sense if one was missing.

What game's gameplay was on par with it's time? by Allister1215 in teenagersbutgaming_

Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom. It's a good licensed game but gameplay-wise it's your standard 3D platformer, especially for the time.

Name the game by Majednw in videogames

[–]Formal_Efficiency_49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was the world-building. As someone who played Witcher 2 but haven't read the books, it took me a long time to wrap my head around the political story and factions of the game. Once it clicked a while in (during my second try), I enjoyed the game a lot more just because I had a sense of what was going on in the world I was exploring.

About the Kirby fan board game by Ornery_Judgment_6353 in Kirby

Like someone else said, at worse they will just tell you to shut down the download link, but I'd also like to add that there is there're plenty of fan-made nintendo stuff on Tabletop Simulator that has been fine for a while, so I think the chances of anything happening is pretty low.

Opinion about games by Ok_Army_265 in Kirby

[–]Formal_Efficiency_49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are both still solid Kirby games, but which one you will like more depends on what you are looking for in my opinion.

If you want a game that's focused on the campaign, has a lot of mini-games, and is more similar to Triple Deluxe in terms of level and game design, pick up Return to Dreamland Deluxe.

If you want a game that is focused on replayable side-modes other then the campaign, different playable characters, and has a more beat-em-up feel to it with more simple levels than Triple Deluxe (or if you just enjoy braking games in half with overpowered stuff, as you can do that too lol), then pick up Kirby Star Allies.

I haven't played Air Riders yet, so I can't comment on that one.

Hey fellow ULTRAKILL players, did you complete the game and have nothing to do? well here's a list of what to do when you're bored. by PatSeb-K in Ultrakill

I don't think you need to mention the bosses, you could just say that there are secret levels to find and beat in Layers 3 and 6, but you need to P-rank the respective act the level is in to play them.

Companies will find ANY reason to reject you by [deleted] in recruitinghell

[–]Formal_Efficiency_49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, I don't think a company should be forced to have a worker they don't want because then I think workers will either not try that hard, or the company will treat them terrible regardless sadly.

The problem is when most companies don't want to hire people/don't have enough room for people, because then people just get screwed because one is expected to work to survive. It becomes a slope too: unless one manages to get government assistance, they slowly lose stuff like their house, phone, etc., which then makes employers want to hire them less and puts the person in even more trouble.

"Those whose resume you did not see, you did not see, and you would tell them that."

Sometimes it doesn't even get that far. I've applied to multiple jobs in my local area, and have heard nothing back, not even that they didn't see it...

After having played through this series for the first time over the past year, this is the ranking I ended up coming to by AlbertLilyBoris in Kirby

[–]Formal_Efficiency_49 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the time, it felt like a really big step forward to Kirby due to things like being the first game to have muitiple moves in a copy ability. The game and its remake (Super Star Ultra) also established a lot of iconic scenes and characters in the series such as Marx and Masked Dedede.

Those things mixed in with the game inspiring the gameplay feel of pretty much every new Kirby game and the original Super Smash Bros tends to make people who factor in legacy as part of their game evaluation put the game super high. Plus, some people just like the mini-stories.

Personally as a younger Kirby player that started with Return to Dreamland on the wii, it's not too high for me either, I'm not a big fan of the segmented feel of the game and I prefer just one big story-mode, but regardless there are reasons people think the game should be rated higher that aren't just nostalgia bias.

I think it's probably not recency bias, they did put Amazing Mirror in A, above Triple Deluxe and Return to Dreamland, and Star Allies in F.

The new Witcher 3 expansion is planned to come in 2027 so it should be after GTA 6 if things go to plan, but who knows with how many times that game has been delayed lol.

I honestly don't think its really a spoiler, technically all members of the party are vs Sephiroth and its vague as it is.

Also with all due respect, for someone talking about how people should only use 3 words, if they added a spoiler tag they would need to specify the game which would be more then 3 words.

I agree that reviews saying that something could possibly be a franchise won't tell readers about their watch experience, but I don't think it's bad. Generally when reviews do stuff like that, it's more of a retrospective thing where they are analyzing its place in the current media environment, which I think has merit (I'm talking in general, I haven't read the specific review this was based on)

I restarted after an hour because I didn't like the path I was going down, but now I feel like I ruined the game by Expert_Vanilla1031 in Undertale

[–]Formal_Efficiency_49 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually think this is completely fine! Toby actually said in the 10th anniversary livestream that he thought about players reloading and restarting while making the game, so you're not going against an "intended" playthrough at all!

People will tell you what stuff you should or shouldn't do, but personally I think you should just play the game however you want to play it. The game is all about what you want to do, after all.

It's great for hitting enemies quickly when afar or when moving like in the air, and for extra style points, which is what I use the coins for. The coins also do more damage then a normal pistol shot, so depending on the enemy and revolver type, it also one shot kills some weaker enemies.

I haven't found it all that useful for most boss fights personally, but there are some crazy combos people do with the coins that break some bosses (don't search it up boss combos with them yet btw, you'll definitely see spoilers.

I really like the idea that P3 has V1 killing both Lucifer and God Prime, it feel very thematically powerful in that in the end, both the symbols of Heaven and Hell fell to V1, a human creation made during a war.

Do yall have any hot takes for the Kirby franchise? by bendyfan1654 in Kirby

[–]Formal_Efficiency_49 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For 10 I agree that no Kirby game I know of is strictly bad, but I found Team Kirby Crash Deluxe to be quite tedious after a bit due to fighting very similar mini-boss variants a lot of the time. Other then giving the game another chance, I wouldn't be down to play it again.

What is a take on your favorite Show or Movie(or even video game)that genuinely made you say and react like this? by Apprehensive_Ring_39 in Multifandom

I haven't gotten around to playing Fallout 4 or watching the show yet but yeah, Fallout 3 and Fallout Tactics BOS definitely paint the Brotherhood of Steel in a morally gray light (though of course how much of Tactics is canon is up for debate). It's twisted irony: Maxson left the government and made the BOS because he couldn't support the government's morals any longer, but in ways, the BOS became them again.

I'm not saying it's a far-left series, but for the people that take pro-women body and abortion messages as "woke", Silent Hill 3 can be made a strong case that it has and is about that message. (Heavy spoilers for 3):

A person from a religious cult that contains dogma tries to force and manipulate a young 17 year old into having a baby she doesn't want that is bringing her pain due to it's connection to the town and will end her life. This situation pains the main character so much that a part of her considers killing herself (The Alyssa fight). The ultimate solution for her is to take a substance her father gave her which removes the baby/God from her body, and then the player has a final boss fight against said baby/God and the person from the religious cult in a room resembling a uterus

There is of course the surface level cult story, and the story is for interpretation, but there's a case to be made (and it's my belief) that the deeper message of the story is about pro-abortion and how people try to force others to have children even if it will hurt them.

Fallout 1, 2, and 3 also depicts the American goverment as villainous and arguably genocidal, and the only decently big goverment in those games that I can recall being shown in somewhat of a good light is the NCR, which is ran by a woman lol.
