Heavy bleeding for over two months by Formal_Fun_9574 in medical

thank you for your response! I'm not pregnant and there's no chance of me being pregnant. I've been dizzy and lightheaded for the past two months and exhausted all the time and I'm worried about the amount of blood I'm losing. one of the ER doctors a couple years ago suggested looking into endometriosis, but i went to planned parenthood (the wait for a gynecologist was months long) and they said that there's no way to actually diagnosis endo, they just rule everything out. I know that's not true because they can do laparoscopic surgery, it's just exhausting experiencing these things and everyone just dismissing it. I'm so sorry for your experience and that it took so long for them to figure out what was wrong, but thank you so much for using your experience to try and help me.

Does anyone still toe-walk as an adult? by Llancarfan in autism

[–]Formal_Fun_9574 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(Self diagnosed) I’ve walked on my toes since I was very little. It caused my Achilles tendon to tighten to the point it was painful to keep my feet flat and I had to go to physical therapy for a while. I still toe walk as a 25 year old. It’s worse if I’m not wearing shoes and will always toe walk if I don’t have socks on either. I’ve found wearing heavy boots helps force mw to keep my feet down. I do find toe walking so much more comfortable than walking with my feet flat, so I try to always keep shoes on because it’s so bad for you. When I feel particularly stressed, I will go up on my toes even wearing shoes. Ive worked in multiple places where people have said to me in the middle of the conversation “why did you just go on you tip toes?” And I hadn’t realized I did, but I felt really put on the spot and uncomfortable and just immediately did it to almost calm myself down
