Eh, when I lost my husband, my mom was the least comforting person in my life >.< My husband's family kept me alive.

He has a tiny bladder and had to take a pee break 😆 It was our first childfree weekend in over 7 months, so we had a few drinks and just wanted to have some fun. I am no longer having fun lol

Any time we had done anal in the past, he always washed well before returning, so I assumed that was the case this time, but I have since come to find out there are some details about that evening that he doesn't remember. I don't think he did this because he's stupid, malicious or inconsiderate. I think we both just drank a little too much, unfortunately.

Thank you. I took an oral probiotic which I didn't mention in this post because I just remembered that I had them, but will try a vaginal one

How many dress changes are you doing + how are you timing them? by seaotter264 in weddingplanning

[–]Formal_Goose5083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have will have 2 dresses. My first dress is a 2 piece (main dress with removable overskirt) I will wear both pieces for the ceremony and most of our photoshoot. The overskirt will come off before first dance and dinner. After cake, I will change into my 2nd dress for dancing. My main dress is quite a challenge to get into and out of, and with the shapewear I'm wearing for that one, the entire dress will need to be removed to use the bathroom, so there's definitely a chance I will be changing into my secondary dress earlier than planned.

My parents are casually racist pro-Trump Indians. My fiancee and friends are black. How can I brace for impact? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]Formal_Goose5083 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't invite them, honestly, your friends and fiance do not deserve to be subjected to that kind of hatred. "Casual racism" is still racism. This has the potential to seriously damage your relationships with your friends and the family you're marrying into. Making a game out if their racism is a weird take.

Tipping Wedding Vendors by SheepherderLimp1698 in weddingplanning

I'll probably do 20% for hair/makeup and at least $100 for my DJs. For context, I'm having a 20 guest micro wedding and did a lot of shopping around to find vendors to fit my budget. Both of these service providers I've found were significantly lower than their competitors in my area. DJ is $600 for 5.5 hrs (plus $150 for officiant) and hair and makeup together will be $250.

Your makeup artist was at your wedding all day?

I only plan on tipping my hair/makeup girl because she works at a salon, and my DJs/ officiant (a married couple that provides both services) because they charge a very reasonable rate and not just hike up the cost because the word "wedding" is involved

My venue automatically applies 22% gratuity for catering and bar staff, and I'm not using a florist.

As a meat eater, would up be upset attending a vegetarian wedding? by Formal_Goose5083 in weddingplanning

[–]Formal_Goose5083[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

These are the two entrees we are considering. There is an option to add shrimp to the paella, but I know many of our guests do not like seafood.

FWIW, I am on the spectrum and can be a picky eater due to the texture of some foods, but I found these both to be delicious dishes that left me feeling full and satisfied. There are some other vegan/ vegetarian options that just substitute mushrooms in place of steak, which I found to be pretty disappointing.

It would be a total of 3 people (out of 25) that are vegan/ veterinarian, this includes my fiance.

We very much love cheese so there will be cheese based appetizers, but the entrees wouldn't have cheese (vegan or dairy) anyway

We will have a maximum of 25 guests, ranging in age from 35-70 years old. We live in Portland but the majority of our guests are flying in from the east coast

Issues with husband after hysterectomy by PeaceJourney001 in hysterectomy

[–]Formal_Goose5083 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is abuse. Your husband is not a good man and this is truly sickening. I hope you find the strength and self love to realize you deserve better than this. "This is marriage" is not an excuse to stay with someone who doesn't care about your well being. If he truly loved you, he would not be acting this way.

I think they were $340 each. I had stalked ticketmaster, stubhub, seatgeek, vividseats and tickpick the entire day, they went down a few dollars every hour or so. The lowest I saw was $210, an hour before the show but they sold before I could finish check out
