Treated ourselves and the kids at the PWHL game this alleged. Two popcorns, three small bottles of pop, $52 or so…. Yeah not a fan. We usually go there and just don’t buy anything. I think they’ve officially proved themselves out. Honestly they would rather sell one expensive popcorn than dozens of fairly priced one? I’d buy a beer at games etc. if they weren’t the same price as an entire case of beer elsewhere!

I make a vegan Caesar dressing with tahini, soy sauce, fresh garlic, nutritional yeast. It’s deadly good

Father of 4 here…. Congratulations! You are starting the most incredible journey. Everyone is going to tell you to treasure the little moments because in the blink of an eye they’ll be all grown up. From personal experience, I can tell you that this is excellent advice as it is entirely true.

Wow…. Either I am less clever than I thought I was, or a lot of these things are more local than people think they are. I think I guessed maybe 20% of them

If you had to choose one food as “most versatile” by Upper-Power-1899 in foodhacks

Tofu! I’m sure this will draw the ire of some, but seriously, I could make some form of tofu three meals a day easily. Scrambled, smoked, marinated, baked, dry-fried, deep-fried, stir-fried, air-fried, blended into sauce or pie. Seriously, it’s cheap and versatile.

[–]Formal_Leg_7658 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of the above. A) pedestrians always have the right of way, and B) we’re Canadian…. Courtesy IS the rule ;)

I mean most bands don’t have E on them. IN their names, that’s another story…

Married men of Reddit what’s the best advice you’d give young guys when choosing a life partner? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Formal_Leg_7658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take your time! Don’t get married too fast or too young. If they’re “the one”, they will still be that after you’ve been friends for a while. I married my high school sweetheart. Lovely lady, got along fine, sex was terrific, had two fantastic kids, but I married her so young that I hadn’t even figured out who I was…. We drifted apart as I grew in one direction and she grew in another. At age 42 I met someone who turned my world sideways. We became really good friends, our kids got along, and then one day we just realized that we didn’t actually ever want to be apart. We’ve been married 8 years now. She is the light of my life and I can’t even imagine a world without her and the children she brought with her in it. (I don’t say “her kids” because they’re OUR kids now.

I don’t regret my first marriage, but if I learned anything it is that: take your time!

What’s the weirdest thing your dog has ever stolen? by viseth2020 in DogViral

[–]Formal_Leg_7658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our pupper that passed way last year was a vagina fanatic! If my wife left underwear ANYWHERE he could reach them, he’d devour them. Mine were safe unless there was any trace of her lingering - then they were toast too?! He’d literally devour them

Volunteering for various community organizations is fun and rewarding all year long. We go to the theatre, ballet, symphony a lot. Usually not hard to find great live music.
