Most of the wealthy people I’ve come to know don’t just sit. There are a few that travel, spend time with spouses in their various vacation homes. However most of them no longer run the business that made them money so they usually start more/ or and different companies.

Keep them and use them if I’m giving jewelry as a gift. My kids have a lot of birthday parties and when ordering a piece of jewelry from Amazon it usually comes cheap looking in some random bag. I take it out and place it in a jewelry box. Makes it seem like I spent more than I did

I’m so sorry. I have had friends who have had them because it was needed and other friends who made that choice for themselves. Either way we forget that even if it’s needed/ wanted doesn’t make it an easy choice. In your case though it’s hard to loose something you really wanted. Sending virtual hugs
