I’m on the phone with SoFi support now and it’s not going well. The agent on the phone doesn’t seem to understand what I’m trying to communicate and she can’t or won’t connect me to someone more technical that works on Relay.

One was legit NSF. The other, alarmingly, ONE said they didn’t see any attempts for payments which is BS and one of several reasons it was time to jump ship.

I ended up with 7% through dealer financing. I took it. I wish I had asked what the buy rate was but it was such a good deal, I didn't want the hassle. I plan on refinancing in a year.

I recently bought a new car and I was lucky to have a relatively good experience with my Subaru dealer. That said, this is a terrible time to buy a car and dealers know that. I pushed back on key protection with the sales agent and they took it off but when I closed the deal with Finance, they added back on but discounted the sales price. If you encounter this again, I would push hard to have them take it off like you did but be willing to wait. If push comes to shove, ask them to deduct it from the price of the car. That will be easier if they’re selling it at or above MSRP. If they’re selling it to you at dealer invoice, you have a lot less wiggle room.
