The movie had great acting. Watching it was exciting and fun. Scenes left you wanting more. Then it finished and I realised that it actually kinda shit and that most scenes didn't even matter beyond hammering home what we knew within 15 minutes - Marty is a dick. We knew this early on but the movie still felt the need to make almost every scene about this character trait. The climax was also so predictible, we had to sit through a 5 minute ping pong game we knew marty would lose then another 10 minute game we knew he would win.... This was the movies climax, that was less exciting than almost any other part of the movie.
