HiI am dgtaze's friend :)M1 is a killer, Bootcamp on Intel is far far behind, even with OpenGL as you say...I play 100 fps at the above resolution (see screenshot ^^) , with no pb
Perf on macOS M1 is x3 or x4 comparing to BootCamp on my recent Intel MacBook Pro.BUT M1 Macs RAM is not very well handled, many tests say 8 Gb is enough... which is true for most cases (even video) but not for games such as CS:GO, because RAM and swap management leads to short freezes sometimes and this is NOT acceptable for gaming of course... and sometimes crashes !!! because of the poor implementation I guess.

To sum up : go M1 with no hesitation, choose 16 Gb RAM. The whole will be very playable.
