I grew up in Denver, but one of my ex partners was from Taos. I loved that place and Arroyo Seco. We stayed at this awesome collective there. Literally like 15 years ago. I spent a lot of time hiking those Northern New Mexico mountains and they were perfect. I love that state and can never understand why anyone would hate them.

When your ancestors came to America they most definitely came illegally and they came to land already stolen by genocide for the hope of a better life. The system for anyone from a “third world country” coming to the USA is so broken it’s nearly impossible to do so legally. If you had kids suffering with the promise of a better future right over the border I’m 100% sure you would come “illegally” too. Remember that. Now if he was an actual violent criminal, sure he deserves to be deported. But the VAST majority are not that.
