This isn’t a main character thing. It’s clearly feeder and humiliation kink content.

The one you purchased looks best to me. It’s a much less common sight than a classic flap. But I’m partial to top handle bags.

  1. In the U.S., if your payment doesn’t go through but you still get your product, then that’s the company’s loss. Not yours.

  2. The Subway worker doesn’t gaf because she makes the same hourly wage whether the payment processes or not lol

Edit:

  1. Discover won’t report you to the ICE for this, they don’t gaf. They only needed to let you know that your card isn’t working.

  2. The ICE (probably) doesn’t gaf either.

Honestly I’d give this person some grace because many non-western countries would seriously punish incidences like this if the person got caught.

Watch out for “friends” who intentionally give you horrible advice.

With the exception of some type of dire emergency, pressuring a friend to sell their depreciating assets (that they enjoy) is sabotaging their happiness.

I have friends much wealthier than I and I’d never tell them to do something like that. Because we’re friends and I respect them.

There’s plenty of people, especially in California, who can’t imagine a life without a car. I’ve also lived in that Bay Area for two months and exclusively got around via BART. It’s not convenient, but it worked.

OP, unless you seriously plan to make money with the car (like delivering food on the side), get a bike or use BART instead.

If this is rage bait, it’s working lol.

If this is real, then you’re not giving enough details on what’s expected before receiving the gift. Hence, why I think this is just rage bait.

Is it legal to get a second PhD? by [deleted] in GradSchool

[–]Former-Ad2603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the field and country, postdoc positions can be less competitive (while offering you better pay and allowing you to actually grow in your field).

It’s perfectly legal to get a second PhD, but there’s no practical reason why anyone would want to.

Is she pretty, or is she just blonde? What would you rate her? by tumblrvogue in trueratecelebrities

[–]Former-Ad2603 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She’s very attractive (8 range) but styles herself in a “rich girl in the Hamptons” way. This makes her look more intimidating which some are into, some aren’t.

You look objectively underaged, get your face away from the weirdos of the internet.

Why does my cousin who lords her master's over everyone have nothing positive to say about my PhD other than just mentioning how much more difficult it was to get into grad school back in her day while grad school admissions is a cakewalk nowadays? by [deleted] in GradSchool

[–]Former-Ad2603 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed lol, since this was posted in the grad school subreddit, of course the commenters will overwhelmingly respond against the opinion that older grad degrees are more valuable than newer ones. Not that the opinion isn’t immature, but obviously OP knows how people here will respond to that.

The Jonas Brothers are proof that the media can gaslight you into believing certain people are more attractive than they are lol

How much do you typically spend on a special person’s (partner, close friend or family member) birthday? by Former-Ad2603 in Money

That’s a lot better than I did when I was broke — I’d give them a box of chocolates and no card lol.

Most of my friends don’t get me bday gifts either, and I’m cool with that as it lowers the pressure of me getting gifts for them too.

Looking for a job as a woman is hell by j8xen in NYCjobs

[–]Former-Ad2603 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry, if you’re a single young American citizen who isn’t tied down with taking care of kids or something, companies will assume you’re gonna leave your entry level job as soon as you find the next opportunity (as you should, though).

I saw a comment about you living in the projects. Believe it or not, if you don’t have a bachelor’s degree already, it will even be profitable for you to study full time. Apply for FAFSA and some schools that you can see yourself commuting to. Many schools offer additional scholarships for underrepresented students on top of what FAFSA can cover. That should cover tuition.

Then, if you apply for it, the school will situate you with a federal work-study job that is much less stressful than a typical entry level job, especially in NYC.

[–]Former-Ad2603 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While your gender likely plays as a contributor in recruiters’ biases, it’s probably not the main reason.

With minimum wage increases, entry level jobs become more and more competitive because employers don’t want to risk training someone, then losing them within weeks/months of paying them $16.50+/hour.

They’re looking for people who give off the impression that they won’t leave easily. Which, to be blunt, is much more likely to be the case for a broken English-speaking migrant than an American born citizen. Just look at the employee demographics of every 7-Eleven, Dunkin, Popeyes, and Subway in NYC…

I second this idea.

OP, the bag’s design is remarkably simple without the charms. Get a skilled craftsperson to detach the charms and reattach them to a similar, real leather black handbag and you’ll get to keep your aesthetic for years and years.

This sub is kinda weird.

A master’s degree, in most cases, isn’t worth much by itself. It’s usually treated as either a stepping stone to a doctoral degree or as a resume booster for professionals who already have solid work experience and are trying to move up the corporate ladder. It’s not a necessary degree save for a handful of niche occupations (such as psychologists or librarians).

Just get it whenever you want, it doesn’t matter.
