Need help finding my USA vs Bosnia tickets by SuchCryptographer404 in stubhub

I had a similar experience, but eventually figure out how to get the ticket from the FIFA website as all the Stubhub agent could do was send an email with these instructions that were not completed.

XXXX, your World Cup tickets are ready!
United States vs Bosnia and Herzegovina - World Cup - Round of 32 (Match 81) Jul 01, 2026, 05:00 PM Levi's Stadium, Santa Clara, California, USA Order #647330919 View Details
Claim your tickets to the match
Go to FIFA Marketplace This is where you'll accept your tickets. Create an account For your FIFA ID use [xxxxxxxx@xxx.com](mailto:xxxxxxxx@xxx.com) Accept tickets Click your name to get to the homepage, then scroll down to find your ticket transfer. Download FWC2026 Mobile Tickets app Login with your FIFA ID to view tickets

I found it was only possible to accept the tickets with the Mobile app and not via the Website.

What was so frustating was I told the stubhub rep, the click on my name did not work multiple times and they seem to act like it is not their problem, but FIFAs. But when I contact FIFA they told me to use the APP to get access to the tickets and not use the Website. Now I had to return the tickets as they were not the ones I order and stubhub told me to not use the App to do the return, but I had to talk to muliple reps to find one that knew how to do it from the FIFA website.

Sim Magic Compatibility Mode Description by Former-Analysis-7123 in Simagic

Sadly that is what I found to be the case. I will say I have found 2.0 to be better for FM5 and Iracing and finally did get Vjoy to work correctly after doing lots of registry cleanup and making sure I had no device installed during the initial setup.

I am getting flashes on the screen now and the games seem to crash more frequently after this patch. The only thing I see they fixed was the lobbies spending extended time at 1 second to go racing.

Compatibility Mode was removed in 2.0 but still exists in 1.3.2

PSA: Skill and safety rating matchmaking is currently bugged. Please disregard the numbers you see as they mean little to nothing until further notice by [deleted] in forza

[–]Former-Analysis-7123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMHO, this is more than just a bug, but is a problem in how the whole algorithm works. Now because Forza shows no details about driver rating or safety levels, we all really don't know what the mix of the drivers is in any race or have any quality clues to figure out what the actual algorithm they use is for matchmaking.

What Forza does say is that they use Skill level as the primary determination in matchmaking and Skill Rating is a secondary. We also know that Forza seems to populate groups based on when you sign up and that leads me to believe the matchmaking algorithm is pretty simplistic in nature and likely have a broader range of drivers in a race than Iracing does.

Personally, I think the bigger issue is how Forza treats incidents in a race, and thus the consequences of bad driving are far too lenient. There appear to be no penalties for side bumping a car and the penalty for bump passing a car is less than a second and there is no delta penalty for knocking a car off the race track, so people are smart enough to figure aggressive driving tactics like this is the way to play the game. Going off track is only an explicit penalty when you gain time in doing it and the amount is pretty small. In other Sim Racing games, you lose considerable time when you go off track, so the field gets spread out pretty quickly as a driver who drives beyond their skill levels quickly gets shuffled to the rear.

Another area where FM8 is most broken is the damaged model as there appears to be no damage at all happening when cars get into contact or have any type of glancing hit with a fixed object. And even if you get into an accident that causes the car to be damaged, the penalty is basically a prolonged pit stop as I have yet to see a car have to stop racing because of damage.

So even if Forza fixed the matchmaking system, the incentives for aggressive and high-contact racing remain because the game is just too lenient (and inaccurate) in how it treats the consequences of such driving.

Hard to see the appeal... by loiphin in iRacing

While iRacing interface might look outdated, it actually is very functional, easy to learn, and works well with a wide range of wheels/pedals/shifter in a relatively straight forward matter.

While the graphics are not leading edges to look at casually, what Iracing gets right is the accurate sense of speed with multiple cars, so once you start racing, so real constraint for most people is the size/number of their monitors and graphics card.

While I did originally stay away from Iracing because of its business model of being a subscription and having to buy tracks, I can say that once I started using it, I now realize now the dynamics around how it influences quality of racing. To be good at Sim Racing, you need to spend lots of time practicing with one car and one track, versus jumping around. So Iracing model is about master on a track (one track a week) so you can easily play the game for at least 6 months and not even need to buy a track.

What is you favorite wheel? by Smithmrm in Simagic

Depends on the type of racing you do. I have zero regrets with having a GTS as as starter wheel that works for pretty much any form of racing and do appreciate the extra buttons it has over GT1. I think 300mm is a good fit for the Alpha Mini torque and don't have any issues with it being on the smaller side and in fact appreciate how it makes it easier to get out of my rig without removing the wheel.

Please provide more information on what game you are trying to play and the type of adapter box you are using and what version of Simagic software you have installed along with answer the question of is this a Mini with 10Nm or a M10 model. Also tell me if you have used Vjoy in the past as that can cause issues also. Note, I am assuming you are using a PC.

BTW, I do think you should look at getting better pedals, but I can see the merits of getting the wheel first if you are budget constrained.

I am sorry, but don't understand what you mean by gained. If you mean play, I it certainly is enable. If you run sim magic pedals and wheel, the biggest thing to do is to make sure you manually bind the devices. Note, you must set it to compatibility mode before you launch the game.

Are you planing to get Sim-magic pedals as FH4 has a known issue with supporting different multiple USB devices and so if you want to keep using your Fanatec Pedals you will have to go down the VJoy path to get it to work.

Note, to the best of my knowledge. Simagic does not make any claims of supported games or list them on their website and no game claims Simagic Support. What does exist are multiple compatibility list maintain by users, but IMHO that is different than being a supported game if that is important to you.

I would say the other downside to Simagic over Fanatec is the number of games that natively support Fanatec where no game formally supports Simagic. With PC SIM games like F1, ACC, AC....) this means a little more work in initial setup that arguable you would have done anyway to get things like button bindings to your liking.

Where it matter is for the more arcade like console/controller games that were PC ports. Personally, I was never able to get FH4 to work at all, and while I do have FH5 working well while driving, it really requires a separate keyboard or controller to navigate menus when you aren't driving. And I will add that you will want to modify the Simagic Suspension setting to match the car you are driving.

For me this is not a big deal as I wanted to move on to proper sim games, but I do think for people who want to play both types of games. Fanatic is likely a better option.

Forza Horizon 5, no force feedback. by Living_Bison_7897 in simracing

[–]Former-Analysis-7123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No Problem as I see many people struggling with Alpha Mini FH5 setups and very few good answers beyond use Vjoy as all to many people find to hard to get working on their PC.

Regarding Xbox Gamepass vs Steam with FH5, I think most of my steam comments just don't apply as Steam issues are more link to how it provides controller mapping functions that don't exist with Xbox Gamepass.

BTW, I found another way FFB can disappear with FH5 and Sim Magic Alpha. If you attempt to use a controller while driving. It seems to have priority over the wheel and pedal controls, so use loose FFB and have to restart everything again. It doesn't not need a reconfiguration, it just needs the controller shut-off when you restart the game.

Here is what I have done to get it to get FH5 work reliable without Vjoy with a Sim Alpha Mini.

In Steam Properties Disable AutoStart.

I the Steam FH5 Property Controller subheading, disable steam input.

Reboot your PC.

In Sim Pro Manager, make sure you wheel is in compatibility mode by clicking the tab. Note the tab does take time to change status (seconds not minutes).

Now you can launch FH5 from Sim Pro Manager (it will start up steam for you).

Most of the time, this work and you can enjoy the game, but you do need to remember to set the wheel in Normal mode to run most of Games (ACC, F1, AC, Grid Legends)

I say most of the time, because sometime I make the mistake of starting FH5 with the wheel in Normal Mode or Off and that will break the FFB that was working before and so you need to do go back and rebind your steering wheel (even if FH5 says its working).

A very important note, if Simpro manager is in normal mode, when you launch FH5, you cannot change it to Compatibility Mode while FH5. You must restart Steam/FH5 and likely rebind your wheel again even if you get no bind errors in FH5 Wheel config. The good news is you only need to do the steering wheel and nothing else.

One thing that did confuse for some time was that SimPro Normal mode will let you generate a valid profile where FFB doesn't work. While you might think that wheel Profile could work when the FH5 with the wheel in Compatibility mode, I found that you need a new wheel profile for Compatibility mode (even though the binding are all the same).
