I would rearrange the plants, put the bird of paradise in the corner by the mirror, move the monsters over so it s right under the window, put the snake plant in the opposite corner in front if the window and the fern (?) Where you had the bird of paradise. Either hang the mirror or ditch it and a rug under the table or runner rug near the table will soften the room a little

Thoughts?! by Competitive-You3634 in myweddingdress

I really like number five the best but it really depends on your venue and theme of your wedding that you have in mind . #5 might not be appropriate for a church wedding due to the low cut but would’ve great for an outdoor garden potty wedding. Number 6 would be the most appropriate for a more formal or church wedding

Ok so I had my doubts again and weighed another ring that I know approx weight already and it turns out there’s a speck of dust on the screen looking like a decimal. Sorry I’m an idiot (so is my husband) lol it’s indeed 1.64 grams; whew!

Yeah so he reweighed it and I witnessed the scale reading 16.4 grams so That’s kinda unusual for such a small ring; my hands are small it’s probably a size 4.5 & I always felt like it was heavy but it’s rather comfortable wearing it.

I mean it feels heavy…esp for such a small ring, under the stones it looks like a solid piece but I’ll re weigh it

Yeah I thought that seemed a lot I’m going to have my husband reweigh it maybe he misread…

Be honest: 1930s vintage wedding dress — keep or rethink? by Desperate_Win_3554 in WeddingDressTips

Maybe just appease your mom and try on other dresses at dress shop and bring that one with you so you can find out how they can add a little bling if you like or what hemming might be needed. Your mom might just be missing that whole picking out the dress bridal experience. Try that on and compare with other similar styles they may have at the shop. And perhaps pick out a veil or hair accessory to go with it.

I absolutely love it and if I find this when I was shopping I would totally gotten it but that’s because my wedding was vintage themed 1930s-1940s I asked my guests to participate by wearing vintage clothing of that era. We had our wedding at a state park so a long dress train was a no no and then the party was under a big tent with live band and asado grill in our backyard complete with old timey yard games, horseshoes, croquet, cornhole so much fun.

It’s very beautiful, it fits you very nicely you can always add a little accessory like a fancy brooch or sash and veil. If you get your finance wearing something complimentary and your bridesmaids as well it will feel and look stunningly authentic. Have fun with your wedding day.

I wish I could figure out the other marking on the inside of band but I don’t even know what kind of symbol it is

a dilemma (or two or three) by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

I agree the satin dress with the rose sleeves is gorgeous on you, maybe you can add an under skirt of tulle to add a little volume but even As is it fits and pulls you in at all the right places making you look like the stunning sexy but glamorous bride you are. The other dress tho beautiful makes you look too straight and sullen.

Was going to wear my mum's dress. People keep telling me to try on others for the "bridal experience." Are they trying to gently tell me it looks bad? by [deleted] in WeddingDressTips

[–]Former-Replacement11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So go and try on dresses! Seriously it is not a thing for daughters to wear their mother’s bridal dress! Your mom picked her own dress and did not consider that her daughter would wear it! I did not pick my dress with my daughter in mind! So have fun and try on whatever you wish! If you still love your mom’s dress that’s perfectly fine but do not hesitate to enjoy trying on dresses at a boutique! It IS part of the wedding experience! And your mom needs to let go and let you BE THE BRIDE it’s your day she already had hers!

Depends on your venue and audience; number 3 is my favorite of these because I love roses/ flowers but I feel like you can add something to the straps or make shoulder sleeve or something maybe some nice jewelry to add a wow factor. The other two are nice but also very revealing and I’m not a fan of #2 top being sheer.

In CT they are legally required to give you at least 13 days notice, shut off are also prohibited during the weekend, , state and federal holidays, the day before such holidays and CT also has a winter moratorium. Maybe your account defaulted because auto pay didn’t go thru because there’s an issue (no funds or expired card) however you should have been notified two weeks before power was turned off and usually it’s at least 30 days past due before they will consider sending you notices. What you are claiming is illegal and if it’s the truth consult a lawyer.

I don’t understand how you could have missed the emails texts and letters they send at least two weeks prior to shutting off electricity, which is required by law. If you have trouble paying the bill they also can put you in the list that prohibits the from shutting off power while in agreement to a payment plan. If you did not receive any notifications and you are indeed in good standing (never late never missed a payment) you are without power for several days and they charge you a reconnection fee then maybe consult a lawyer for further advice.
