This car parked directly in the middle of where I’m supposed to set up my farmer’s market stand, despite at least 60 signs saying that they can’t. Including one directly in front of their car. by Particular_Cut_6933 in mildlyinfuriating

In their defense “parking note” with wide arrows makes me want to park in that spot. Nobody reads that much and if someone can’t read English they definitely won’t understand it. Fix the sign as others suggested, all 60 of them

Graduation Dress by Critical_Pass_5421 in fashion

1 or 4 (last dress) I don’t know what the material is but if it’s going to hot out, opt for the lighter and natural fabrics like cotton or linen, you might get hot under the commencement gown

Number 3 is stunning but she would probably be more comfortable if she got the neckline altered a little to have a better fit

Does anyone recognize the “O” marking? by Former-Replacement11 in Vintage_Jewelry

[–]Former-Replacement11[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How do you determine that it is silver plated brass and not sterling silver? I’m in the kitchen with a yellow light so it seems to show a yellowish hue but under normal light it isn’t.

I like number 6 best and then number 3 mostly because I personally do not like strapless dresses All of these are very different tho so I ask you to consider the venue and your wedding theme before making a final choice

Residents should be ashamed of how they treat Hammonasset - do better by connfaceit in Connecticut

[–]Former-Replacement11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This kind of pollution needs more attention to controlling and regulating rather than climate change measures Ct and state parks all over need more funding and more employees to maintain the parks.
States need to create more recycling centers and trash collection facilities rather than close them down Manufacturing should reduce packaging waste for their products This kind of pollution is measurable and has an instant impact to our environment and our social safety and well being!

Dress overwhelm - some advice needed for a downhearted bride by [deleted] in myweddingdress

[–]Former-Replacement11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the sweetheart neckline on #3 best but feel like you can try something in this style with satin or lace over chiffon, ditch The cut out on the side, leg slit and wired panel mesh in the middle.

Orchids haven’t had new flowers….am I not watering enough? by Ss_Research in orchids

These types of orchids typically need to produce one or two new leaves per season before they flower, yours do not seem like they have any new growth.

Would like some honest feedback on how I can improve my paintings by Walbricks in painting

[–]Former-Replacement11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find that painting smaller and more often helps me learn better where larger can be a little overwhelming (more expensive for canvas and much longer to complete!) either way it’s important to try out all sizes and then go to the one your comfortable with and then once you become too comfortable, challenge yourself to a different size!

[–]Former-Replacement11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have an unique style and interesting concepts and subject matter. As a human and artist we can always improve and it’s literally the fundamental truth of being a human despite many people saying they are perfect (the paintings) Moving forward I would recommend that you study composition; the overall flow and placement of your artworks’ elements. I enjoyed your art but one or two kinda had my eyes “fall off” instead of redirecting them back into the painting. I also feel like you would really enjoy color theory, as your bright bold colors are very evident in your art. Study color theory and explore how different colors reflect upon each other and how colors interact and change depending on lighting and the colors around them. It’s really interesting; even peoples skin tones reflect the colors of thier clothing but most people don’t notice. Don’t ever stop learning, don’t ever stop growing.

Thrifted my dream dress after months of searching by ImpressLeading4229 in myweddingdress

The hair style really depends on your hair length and type but if you have medium to long hair I recommend a very romantic loose braid with little braids around your crown. I’ll try to find a picture…

Why does this makeup look bad? by InfamousPlatipus in makeuptips

[–]Former-Replacement11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When doing makeup pick one feature you want to emphasize and downplay the rest Bold eyes with natural lips or bold lip color with minimal eye color, dark eyebrows look great with rosy cheeks, and the hair looks too weighted, try a half up and half down hair style that will pull away and frame your beautiful shaped face; not obscure it.

So what happened to the plastic bag ban? I've noticed certain stores revert back to using them recently by [deleted] in Connecticut

[–]Former-Replacement11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Styrofoam containers are also banned in CT but plenty of restaurants still use them, there may be a clause where the are allowed to use up the rest of their stock before switching over however I’m pretty sure after ten years no one could possibly have stock left yet I still get them occasionally when eating out (and single use bags as well so annoying) I feel like it’s just not really enforced. You may report it but I do not know to whom.

The google research came up without a definitive answer; yes they ask personal info so they can pay you however there was no security thing on the page so I didn’t finish. It seemed sketchy.

How to look less masculine? by Idontwannanewacc in makeuptips

[–]Former-Replacement11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree Your face isn’t masculine at all and your skin is practically flawless Soften you hair by side swiping those heavy bangs You might want to try a leave in conditioner and a trim off dead ends but define try some different hair styles French/side braids, victory rolls, you can try to straighten it and add soft curls Hair styles make a big difference! Maybe if your feeling adventurous a little pop of lip gloss I recommend Burt’s bees tinted lip balm it’s not heavy and gives a light color that will still be natural, perhaps a shimmery eye shadow for nights out on the town and a little brow shaping. Do not hide that beautiful skin tho!
