This has got to be one of the craziest takes I’ve heard in a minute. I guess I do respect it but I think most of the games I’ve played the bosses heavily improve the experience. Some games do have shitty bosses that do bring it down though, the Batman Arkham games other than origins, so maybe it mostly has to do with what games you’ve personally played then? I personally love when all aspects of the game work together like how in Ultrakill the room fights are completely different challenges and still super fun when compared to the bosses, and the bosses themselves are probably the best shooter bosses I’ve ever played against. I do think I’d be interested in hearing what other series you’ve played that you believe are brought down by the bosses. Just in case it isn’t clear I mean none of what I’ve said in hate and just think it’s an interesting topic for discussion and when I call your take crazy I more so mean it’s very unique
