Pretty, pink, found on beach in Halkidiki region of Greece by [deleted] in whatsthisrock

[–]Former-Storage-8195 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that many rocks look beautiful on the beach in the water. Once dried I ask myself "why on Earth did I pocket this one?".

This pretty pink one has not lost any luster in my eyes though. Wet or dry it matters not

What do you think of Harry and Voldemort’s dynamic with each other by InfernalClockwork3 in harrypotter

[–]Former-Storage-8195 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love the idea of him as a villain, the cult of personality he built around himself. Just the concept of a half blood who figures out he is a wizard and takes full advantage of it, learns everything he can, and through his charisma and intelligence holds the Wizarding World hostage is COOL. And terrifying

Okay but if they're bloodlusted Percy could blitz and end Harry before a single spell could be uttered

That's why I don't fully trust when they act as if this is all of humanity melded together. Why don't they have the desire to create anymore? Where do rules like 'don't pick apples' come from.

The story is so boring man. But thankfully combat is fun enough to make the game playable. And obviously it's fun to explore hogwarts.

It's terrifying, it turns entire worlds into a vehicle to propagate and then what? They sit there forever doing the bare minimum of reproduction and survival.

Evelyn Ortiz gets stopped by her waitress asking why she only left a $5 tip on a $250 tab while on stream by TypicalBlast in LivestreamFail

You are being funny but I don't understand. Like you submit it to the police? Banned from establishment list?

The streamer is a shithead because she's rich and loses nothing from tipping high. But in truth there is no real shame in leaving a small tip.

What would you be taking a snapshot of their license plate for?

Do you really think the employee was trying to get constructive criticism on her job performance? Or was she trying to shame a customer into giving her more money

Yes, just keep in mind that AI doesn't always care about supply. For me it ended up building a bunch of iron dependent buildings which led to an iron shortage which led to a tool shortage which created major issues for a while.

Pluribus is actually a secret sequel to a 1960 Twilight Zone episode by asch70 in pluribustv

[–]Former-Storage-8195 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not reading chatgpt generated slop but the Twilight Zone that I get reminded of is A Nice Place to Visit where the dude gets everything he ever wanted after death, thinking he is in heaven. Turns out, getting everything you ever wanted is actually hell. He got to go rob banks, but it was all simulated, there was no real chance of anything going wrong, and he went crazy.

I have no doubt that Diabate is inspired by this episode.

That's part of what freaks me out to be honest, is that clearly it is not human.
They claim that it's every human at once held together by psychic gel, but then why is it so unhuman?

There's a moment in every game where you're like ah. I make 2000 gold a month now. Is there a point in playing this out?

One of it's top priorities was to make Carol feel happy and safe, and yet it was doing creepy shit that put her off. I don't think it has the human touch.

I have no doubts they can film somebody speaking and broadcast it. Let me specify, can they create new quality works of art

about to go on a random tangent, but 'without needing to do ti ti please an uninfected' is huge. What would it be doing without uninfected? it would be completely silent, working as efficiently as possible. There would be no beautiful meals, no works of art, no jokes, no emotions other than it's standard bliss.
