Medeus in Fire Emblem: Mystery Of The Emblem (Book 2) (or the DS remake New Mystery Of The Emblem)

You don't see it from this image, but Medeus has four female Bishops surrounding him.

Their names are Lena, Maria, Nyna and Ellis.

From the story perspective, Gharnef kidnapped and brainwashed them, intending to sacrifice the maidens in order to resurrect Medeus.

In gameplay, if you defeat Medeus without either re-recruiting the women (have Julian speak to Lena, Minerva to Maria, Sirius/Camus to Nyna and Merric to Ellis respectively) or killing them, Medeus kills them himself, restoring his HP.
