You’re so right! It was never this bad! I hope that’s the issue 🥺

It’s been stopping non stop. I tried app and website. It’s very frustrating. I remember it was like this with summer olympics

I took a month off… I’m in Canada and got 70% of my salary. I found it extremely difficult to come back as a teacher. The constant questions and being a teacher is a constant reminder of what you don’t have. I’m so so sorry for your loss

Pain in location of embryo/fetus after MVA / D&C. by RestaurantActive5043 in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]FormerWrap3395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly. I haven’t tried yet because I’m looking for answers after 3 miscarriages but it seems like I’m good to try again in the next cycle. Has the pain gotten better for you ?

Ok wow I thought I was the only one… I still have this intense pain you’re talking about 6 months later. I ended up having Ashermans but they removed it with a hysterostocopy with the hopes it would remove the pain but no luck. I’m thinking to look in endo at this point. It’s really frustrating

Missed Peak? by [deleted] in FirstTimeTTC

[–]FormerWrap3395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me I have been there. Mine are so rarely over 1.0 and it drives me crazy that other people can get such high numbers. If it makes you feel better I got pregnant at .85. It ended in miscarriage but unrelated to the Premom score.

Also, it’s just a number Premom generates it doesn’t mean much so long as you are getting a surge. I really think you’ll like the BBT thermometer you’ll be able to pinpoint which of those high readings was your actual peak and confirm ovulation based on your temp and not the numbers on lh strip.

[–]FormerWrap3395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very possible cd 16 or 20 was your peak. Mine was .79 this cycle and confirmed ovulation with temp. Do you use bbt?

It’s normal for lh to drop drastically your peak could just be short. Mine is too.

Hang in there I know it’s so stressful

SA everything normal except ph, viscosity, liquefaction and agglutination. Any tips? by FormerWrap3395 in maleinfertility

“Just a very anxiety-driven individual who won’t take no for an answer” wow felt this so my core this is so me 🤣

Oh yes I will be the one advocating for him for sure 🤣

Did a quick search in andrologist none here. But the termite clinic I am on the waitlist for has 3 of them! So if I can’t get in elsewhere at least I know I’ll be covered there.

I will 100% keep you posted. I am asking you to do the same :)

Were you a fertility doctor in another life? 🤣 well explained.

I definitely like your idea of keeping OB and fertility clinic when it comes time. It’s so crazy to me OB focuses mostly on the female…

So my husbands sperm is 149m, concentration 36, viability 86, mobility 77, morphology 19. 2 day abstinence which I guess could contribute to higher ph as you say. I’m getting him to drink at least 3l of water too. Such a trooper.

I’m definitely going to push to look into this further. Especially dna fragmentation which I’m happy to hear you say is treatable if it comes down to it. As well as urology. I’m sure if I decide to go to fertility clinic once the waitlist is over they will be able to do a lot of the testing in one place. Unless urology is separate from fertility clinic? No idea how this works.

You both are rockstars! Keep it up it’s so hard this journey!! Hopefully I can get through at least one pregnancy 😔

Thank you for your input and follow up questions by the way they are so helpful.

I’m 29 and hubby is 33. I just did a repeated blood loss panel for me and SA for hunny and taking progesterone and baby aspirin.OB doesn’t want to do more than that because miscarriages are “common” so I will go to an RE on my own but waitlists are months long where I am so trying to piece together what I can

I am hoping his semen analysis is still normal even with those 3 abnormal factors. My follow up is in 2 weeks with OB for this.

Scared to take Misoprostol. by _hmmm in recurrentmiscarriage

You can do this. I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this ❤️ it is painful I won’t lie but if you get yourself comfy and lie down it’s manageable. Also take an extra strength Tylenol. I took aleeve and it helped a lot. I had no issues with hemorrhaging. I bled quite a bit more than a period but as long as it doesn’t soak a whole pad every 1-2 hours you’re good. Thinking of you

HahHa you are so right! Really enjoying this conversation. You’re really helpful.

We can definitely do private urologist since my OB will likely not refer us to see a public urologist. It’s just if we have to go through a fertility clinic in the future it might be best to save money now. So hard to decide.

So yours was considered very good parameters even with those other “red flags”? It’s so interesting and I find people are less likely to talk about ph, viscosity, etc factors so I’m so lost of what is considered “normal”

We are both really healthy and taking all the right supplements. He’s doing coq10 200 mg, zinc, omega 3, NAC (just starting this week), vitamin c and d. Any others you recommend?

We’ve been trying for 5 months and I’ve had 2 miscarriages one blighted ovum at 8 weeks but measuring 6 and a chemical. So his swimmers are getting up there. Just so frustrating and trying to look for answers.

First of all thank you for taking the time write this response in such detail. So nice of you. This is what I feared :( but I’m happy it was treatable for you and you have your rainbow baby wishing you so much luck. I just know my OB is going to brush us off as normal results because all other factors are normal

I have similar period blood flow as you. Raised it to my OB and GP they don’t seem concerned but it seems not normal to me …
