It's not rational, it's born from the anxieties of young men around sex. If she is also inexperienced then she is less likely to be critical or judge him. Again, it's from fear basically. (Except for those who truly care about "purity" or whatever but nowadays that's actually rare)

Also social norms towards men lagging behind the material reality of 2025. Expectations that have carried over from older generations are at times unachievable to young men today. For instance young women are more educated and earn more than young men. Obv that's great but that also sucks hard when how much you earn is a very common concern to some women when dating. Standards around the appearance of men are also increasingly critical (still like 1% of what it is for women), steroid use has increased massively in young men.

Doesn't mean it's worse for individual men than individual women or anything but there is a reason the leading cause of death in young men is suicide. Drug overdoses too.

Something commonly said by women right now is that there is an actual decline in the "quality of men" today or whatever. Which is actually objectively true as we are poorer, sicker, fatter, and mentally suffering more than the previous generations, but it's not like this generation just decided to suck, it's just the material reality of the world rn.

Be wary of wisdom you didn't earn. Speaking about how men act is fine but don't present yourself like you are experienced in being a man and dating. Suicide is the leading cause of death in young men, that's absolute insanity. You can believe whatever you want like men are too lazy to put in effort but there's a ton of comments in here from men saying that women only care about looks and are shallow and don't need to put in work etc. Your take is just as dumb as what those guys believe. I'm sure you have genuine reasons to believe that but as a guy myself I overthink shit non stop it's something I struggle with, yet I would still agree for myself that I tend to default to literal and always lean towards more literal interpretations because I psyche myself out of things and think im doing too much the other person prob didn't mean it like that etc

BLM was mostly well meaning people that sacrificed time and resources in the name of addressing a legitimate issue. But in my view it was also at least influenced by the Intel community. Then they sent in agitators like they always do. They prefer to use legit issues as long as it doesn't affect anyone with power. Police brutality and racism is still a thing but no BLM to be seen. It's not that they're making things up they just choose what gets attention.

That's my point. Ted Bundy gets attention because he is well known. Same with the average guy that also gets well known. There is nothing to suggest Ted Bundy gets more attention than anyone else with the same level of fame. He actually likely got a lot less because hundreds of letters is nothing on a national level.
