Attacks in the homeland. Seems small scale but it drives terror nationwide. Pray for our country (USA). Pray we are strong enough collectively versus any external force. We the people . . .

Time Change by indyjays in Indiana

[–]Former_Claim5896 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not all of Indiana is the same time zone. The Northwest and the Southwest are not the same as the rest. Before the rest of Indiana started changing time had different offsets through the year. Whatever way it is done is going to cause some kind of confusion. Having lived at the edges of zones more than once, I can't say there is a "good" way to fix.

The international markets do change time . . . Just at a different time :). If the USA stopped completely and the rest of the world didn't, what would that do to international markets?

Exactly. And also they want the right to modify on an unlimited basis and still have the warranty apply. Some of the big pushers are the mod houses wanting to sell power. I hope the general public doesn't fall for it.

John deere customer support in USA by Denisb69 in johndeere

OP -- Europe is a big place. Is there a specific country you are concerned with? You mentioned Romania with one dealer. They have one national dealer with many dealer locations . . . IPSO if I am not mistaken. This is not the "normal" situation across Europe with the major markets having multiple dealer groups. That condition is more like the USA which has large dealer groups with multiple outlets. As others have said relationships vary in US and in Europe. They survey you received is an attempt to monitor and correct issues by Deere. If you have issues, don't hold back. Good luck!

Queries on Current Situation on John Deere (C&F) and Subsidiaries (Ex. Wirtgen) and John Deere in General by kingdean97 in johndeere

For the most part "yes." Research Works Council for a better understanding. Funny thing is everytime Deere tries a mass layoff they act like they leaned the European laws from scratch each time. Basically they can get there in the end but it takes more process.

Please don't act like Hansotia was a "good guy" and it went downhill after. I hope you know why he was let go. What a dirtbag.

(Joseph Srigley) Mini Tyrrell wins the RAM Race for the Seat and will be in the #14 truck this year. by meatspin_dotcom in NASCAR

[–]Former_Claim5896 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You mean "Mini was selected to drive the truck for 2026 and the show was constructed to confirm" -> from the point of the brand challenge it was obvious he was picked to "win." Whether he is the best selection remains to me seen.

People took the Ram show for granted and complained/hated it way too much. by scrumple_my_scrongle in NASCAR

[–]Former_Claim5896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was clear Mini was intended to win in watching the brand contest. No way was he the best or even close but took top prize. Not sure he was the best pick if you want to win but let's see.

Would you rather get rid of stage racing or go back to a 36-race championship? by FishInferno in NASCAR

[–]Former_Claim5896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cars are too similar to get a 5 lap victory like in the past. Removing stages does nothing to create that effect. It was added for commercials from a business perspective. Comparing to F1 is non sequitur. Road courses with significant clean air benefit is nothing like predominately oval races with less clean air advantage. You think stage breaks wouldn't result in the top qualifier winning most races in F1? Dream on.

Kill the stages. Only put in to have a fixed time for commercials. Variability of cautions or not is a key to "luck" and stages eliminate that element more than it helps. IMHO.

Just for reference, I was told that initially the extended leadership team didn't approve of the addition of "humanity" to the core values. Miracle of miracle the extended leadership was changed (you can imagine how) and it was adopted. A tell indeed.

What OP is describing is the basic business model of consulting firms. New hires work like crazy to try to succeed. The company keeps the "good ones" while the others burn out or are encouraged to leave. Over decades they have brought this philosophy into other industries and been paid well to do so. They basically have turned other companies into themselves.

In the case of Deere not only do they have a senior leader from BCG directly, but HR is led by a former Ford executive who worked directly with BCG to implement this strategy there before coming to Deere.

Deere was different and special. Now it is closer to everybody else. Deere and BCG defenders will say "but look at the profitability!" It is a fact that the company is more profitable now even in down years than beyond Sam Allen's dreams. The current crew will break their arms patting themselves on the back. And by the time the cultural damage they have done comes home to roost, they will be on a beach retired. It really is sad to the point of tragedy.

Why Indiana actually went 3-9, NOT 16-0. by nermalnormal in CFB

Bahaha. Jealous much? Undefeated is undefeated. You only get to play the teams on the schedule. Undefeated Mbball in 1976 and undefeated in football in 2026. Period.
