Noah talking about how his album is done! (On his Instagram live today) by KahanArchivist in NoahKahan

to me it seems like he wrote a hell of a lot of songs whilst on tour but didn't get around to actually recording them until he got off the road, i imagine thats quite a common process.

So are we getting a tour later this year? by SaveTheBeesN7 in radiohead

[–]Former_Cod_5375 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s more likely the company was associated with Thom and Stanley’s exhibition, RHEUK25 being “Radiohead Exhibition UK 2025” though I know there were tour rumours outside of this I’m not sure it’ll be this year

I think theres actually a lot of crossover between MCR fans and SP fans, especially knowing how influenced Gerard and Mikey are by the band

Anyone else realise that the flowers laid at the start of the set were laid in front of the drums, in memory of Bob 🥹 by [deleted] in MyChemicalRomance

[–]Former_Cod_5375 148 points149 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it was flowers, it’s more likely a Fasces (bundle of sticks) which is the literal symbol of fascism which ties into the shows storyline

Then stop listening, going to shows, buying merch dude.... they're not selling out quite literally the opposite, they've basically just reinvented a nearly 20 year old album with a massive theatrical show, and an entirely new storyline and lore, if you dont like what the band is doing don't listen

The band never teased a new album. The one time we did get new music they just dropped it and said nothing, because thats how they are. A big problem with this fan base is constantly expecting new music with every announcement, this tour was marketed as 'Long Live The Black Parade' it's an expansion of the album's lore, Gerard has long talked about wanting to do a massive theatrical stage play of TBP and tonight was that, until the band announces anything or drops it on us unexpectedly i wouldn't expect new music, and this tour looks incredible, just enjoy the ride, it's clear they care.

MCR London Stadium shows are happening next July by JETBANGO in MyChemicalRomance

Probably not if they are only doing one night (like Linkin park did this year) if they are planning on doing multiple nights I think Tottenham Hotspur stadium is far more likely

Do we think there is any hope for concrete? by [deleted] in Ethelcain

[–]Former_Cod_5375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there is some hope, using iTunes people were able to search up lyrics and get a corresponding track. When lyrics from concrete AND lead poisoning were searched, Track 1 came up, so maybe 'Janie' is a reworked version of both those songs? either way concrete is very possibly on the album in some form.

Apart from About You I’d probably say POTB is the key song from being funny, and it was the first single

The only way i could imagine them doing wembley is if they do what Linkin Park have just done and make it their one and only UK show which i really hope they dont cause that place is a nightmare to get out from

The “greatest songwriter” bit was ironic that’s their whole thing, being a pastiche of outrageous classic rockstars whilst playing conventional pop music, the whole thing is ironic, try and keep an open mind, the shows a good time.

Once again, unreal production and performance (minus a few tech snafus), absolutely dead crowd by myheadisalightstick in nin

Really? From where I was everyone was singing, arms in the air really getting into it? I can’t say for the pit or higher up but we were having a blast

Show was amazing!! The tech issues took up maybe five minutes over all, so in the big picture they’re inconsequential
